K-POP MONSTER "MBLAQ" FIRST SPECIAL DVD! After the 3rd Mini Album 『MONA LISA』 was released on May 7 in Korea, MBLAQ will release their first official DVD. It will include a video interview with comeback activities in Korea and the album title song "Mona Lisa" video MV making.
TOP arist Rain produced their debut in Korea in October 2009. In addition to group activities, they have remarkable indivdual activities, including dramas, variety shows, and Hollywood movies. On 4 May 2011 they debuted in Japan with "Your Luv", topping the Oricon Daily Chart at #1. The release event drew great attention in Japan, getting about 46,500 people. Their 2nd single in Japan is "Baby U" which is available for preorder and will be released on 10/26.

On September 27th, MBLAQ‘s Thunder revealed a fatigued-looking selca of himself along with a special message to Big Bang‘s Seungri.
Through his Twitter, Thunder wrote, “Revealing my dark circles! Seungri-ya~ let’s go eat salmon.”
Seungri is known for his panda-like dark circles, hence the mention in the tweet. Some also believe that eating salmon will help lighten up your dark circles, but it seems Thunder needs sleep more than anything. His dark circles especially stand out against his pale white skin and bleached hair.
Fans commented, “I heard that broccoli is better than salmon”, “Go catch some salmon with Seungri oppa one day”, and “You must be really tired lately.”

Before Lee Joon’s debut in MBLAQ, he was known for his good looks and modeled for wigs, home shopping, and even hangover drink ads.
In addition, he was a modern dance major in ‘Korea National University of Arts’, and received a lot of attention as a born natural in school. Today he combines his dance moves and acting abilities in order to show powerful performances on stage.

MBLAQ‘s G.O. revealed his close friendship with actress Park Bo Young through a recent selca post.
On September 28th, G.O. tweeted the photo above and wrote, "Bo Young, you’ve been through a lot."
It looks like they took the photo at an airport, presumably in either Korea or Peru. The two volunteered for a special program in Peru, where they had to build a new bathroom for a school.

110929 [NEWS] MBLAQ is the first to appear on Brazilian TV as a K Pop idol group
In the episode of MBC TV’s Cover Dance Festival K-POP Road Show 40120 (a.k.a K-POP Road Show) which will air on the 29th, MBLAQ’s appearance on the Brazilian TV show, Leitura Dinamica, will be revealed.
MBLAQ flew 18,341.66km for 26 hours and visited São Paulo, Brazil. They experienced how popular K-Pop has become.
In the Cover Dance Competition that MBLAQ sat as judges, 180 teams composed of 900 people competed. MBC also reported that the police were called because there were 10,000 fans waiting for MBLAQ at the competition site.
MBLAQ were greeted by fans not only from Brazil, but also from Bolivia and Peru.
MBLAQ met the popular MC, Henata, and was invited to appear on Leitura Dinamica. On the show, they gained popularity by meeting with a rock band that represents Brazil.
110929 [NEWS] MBLAQ transforms into men of Fall for ‘High Cut’
MBLAQ‘s Thunder, Lee Joon, and Seungho recently partnered up with Levi’s for the October edition of ‘High Cut’ magazine.
The photoshoot took place in a field of reeds, where the members transformed into men of Fall. The boys showcased different looks appropriate for the upcoming seasons of Fall and Winter. Donning in leather or quilted jackets, the members also threw on classic pieces for the cooler months, such as knit sweaters and dark jeans. Although they wore a more casual look for this pictorial, Thunder, Lee Joon, and Seungho managed to exude a magnetic charm that captivated their audience, just like as if they were on stage.

111002 [NEWS] Preview MBLAQ’s new Japanese single “Baby U”
Earlier, we reported that MBLAQ would be releasing their second Japanese single, “Baby U“, on October 26th.
In addition to being their second single, “Baby U” will become the opening theme song to Nippon TV’s anime “Beelzebub”. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the released of the single. Fortunately, they won’t have to wait until the 26th to hear the “Baby U”.
Earlier today, a 1 minute and 30 second clip of “Baby U” was broadcast during the opening segment to “Beelzebub”, along with a promotional clip of the song.

111005 [NEWS] New Girl Group 'C-REAL' releases MV teaser featuring MBLAQ's Thunder
Another girl group has emerged, N.A.P Entertainment is unleashing ’C-REAL‘ consisting of five girls Chemi (Kim Young Won, 18), Lady (Lee Da Hee, 17), Effy (Lee Ji Hoon,17 ), NJay (Jo Yeo Woon, 16), and Leni (Lee Yoo Jin, 15).
These girls have reportedly been in the making for two years and Representative Choi stated that he was looking for the next young IU, and have been labeling the girls the ’5 IU mini me’s’.
All the girls are in high school, except for the youngest member Leni who is in Middle School.
‘C-REAL’ released a video teaser for their title track “No No No No No” on October 5th, as well as information about their mini album, ‘Round 1‘ which features 5 songs.
The lyrics and composition for “No No No No No“ was done by hit making producer, Brave Brothers.
Star News was on set for their Music Video “No No No No No” and when the cameras weren’t rolling the ‘C-REAL’ members were quite shy in front of the staff. However, when asked about music they became passionate and determined.
Leader Chemi replied, “We’re going to become a team that will make our innate natural talents shine. When we dance we’re going to dance, when we sing we’re going to become a team that will really sing”.
Rapper Lady revealed, “In the last MBC’s ‘Birth of a Great Star’ I passed the first round of auditions, but of course I instead chose to join C-REAL. I’ve practiced in a lot of different areas and rap is so much fun. This Fall, let’s try to make good memories with C-REAL”.
Effy replied, “We want to quickly grow (and become better), and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. First we want many people to listen to our cheerful song ‘No No No No No’”.
From Daejeon, NJay shyly responded, “Since our debut is right around the corner, we wake up around 5-6am and practice till late at night. We hope that our efforts will produce great results”.
Youngest member Leni added, “Since we filmed our music video, I’ve now realize that our debut is actually happening. I want us to become a girl group that will be able to express ourselves well to our peers”.
Representative Choi lastly commented, “C-REAL will reveal a track that will have emotions and feel that fits best girls that age. Of course they will also be a girl group that will take on the challenge of change”.
We’ll just have to wait and keep an eye out for this new girl group ‘C-REAL’.

110930 [NEWS] MBLAQ's G.O letter from the other side of the world

Peru, for me is not a familiar country like the United States, Japan or Thailand.
South Korea is located at the other side of the world with a time difference of 14 hours. The place for the volunteer work is located from 3,000 to 4,000m altitude. Everything is strange and awkward and therefore a bit scary.
On the first day in Peru we went directly to Cuzco. In Lima we could not feel the altitude but we felt it as soon as we arrived to Cuzco*. Breathing was difficult and I felt like I was going to faint due to the lack of oxygen.
Little by little I was able to adapt before the Tae Kwon Do exhibition and went to the stadium in Cuzco. There I was able to meet a line ready to practice. There are actually a lot of people in the countryside including children learning Tae Kwon Do.
I went to the square to promote the exhibition and practice. The kids were shy but had warm eyes and gave us some fliers that I accepted. Even then I was not getting adapted. That night I was able to fall sleep despite the altitude.
The morning arrived. Now I finally got used to the altitude. Breathing the fresh air was really easy. I went to the place where we were supposed to complete our schedule.
It was the day for the Tae Kwon Do exhibition. There were a lot of people at the stadium. From young kids to grandparents, people form different ages were interested in Tae Kwon Do. Me and many volunteers participated in the exhibition.
I felt very proud as Korean. The exhibition lasted for 2 hours and the people were charmed by the spirit of Tae Kwon Do.
In Lima people were informed about an event with Korean traditional music. Surprisingly a lot of people from Peru showed a high interest in the Korean culture.
The journey continued in Huaraz. We found a school located at a 4000m altitude in the mountains. The children were studying in an unappropriated environment and even the bathroom was not complete.
We were able to talk with the kids and get close soon. We were glad to give them chocolates, bread and vitamins.
We started working on the bathroom and kitchen renovations. Hammer, shovel and pickax. We did not have enough equipment and some things were difficult but solved it by joining forces.
On the other side, we also gave some medical assistance. I helped the pediatrics and ophthalmologist. The children were not aware of the proper nutrition intake, and probably because of that most of them had a bloated stomach. The older people needed some medical treatment, specially for the eyes.
Now I am writing this letter after spending 10 days in Peru. I have been doing some volunteer work. I think this is going to leave me a deep and valuable experience for the future. I will try really hard to help on the remaining days.
MBLAQ members G.O and Mir spent two weeks in Peru doing some volunteer work for "Dream of Koica" celebrating its 50 year anniversary of services around the world .
The boys and a large number of volunteers traveled literally to the other side of the world in order to help on different areas like culture, education, medicine, sports and more.
It took them 26 hours to go from Korea to Peru making it a really long and tiring trip, but the idea of helping the children returned the hope and courage to their hearts and minds.
G.O has written a letter relating the experiences they went through during the first 10 days since they arrived to Peru.
On the letter G.O talks about the Tae Kwon Do exhibition in Cuzco, the cultural event in Lima as well as the volunteer work in a school in Huaraz.
Dream of KOICA has been working on different countries like Peru, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia and Senegal with more than 90 volunteers including celebrities, doctors, and more.
*Lima is located at the sea level while Cuzco has a 3,399 m elevation.

111004 [NEWS] Nikkei Entertainment lists the most popular K-pop groups in Japan
In Japanese magazine Nikkei Entertainment's latest issue, which was released in the beginning of this month, the results of an earlier held survey about K-pop in Japan were revealed. The survey was taken from a total of 300 women that are interested in K-pop music. The age group varied from girls in their teens to women in their 50s. In each age group 60 people were questioned.
The picture shows a graphic of the most popular and recognized K-pop groups in Japan. The actual percentage was calculated by adding the pink and orange percentages together. While the pink bar stands for the percentage of people who knows of the group, but doesn't know their songs; the orange one included the people who know everything about the groups and their songs.
TVXQ once again came out on top with every single participant knowing their name or music. Supernova, a group that was earlier said to be following in TVXQ's footsteps when talking about popularity, got close with 98% of the people knowing who they were. Big Bang closed the top 3 with 88% of the women knowing who they were. The rest of the list of boy groups included various popular K-pop groups as BEAST, 2PM and its counterpart 2AM, as well as lesser known groups in Korea who seem to be doing a great job in Japan.
The list of female groups included many different groups who haven't even made their official debut in the country, but also saw its top artists confirmed. Girls' Generation got to the first place with 99% of the people knowing who they are, while KARA came in a close second with only one percent less people knowing them. 4minute took a 3rd spot with a percentage of 40.
The top for both female and male groups overall showed that most of the questioned people had more knowledge about the boy groups than they had of the girl groups.

Sony Music Japan has released a 43-second audio preview, which can be found under MBLAQ's Japanese website. Covers and the full tracklist to the single has also been uploaded.
The audio preview reveals an upbeat song that has been rarely heard from MBLAQ.

First, Thunder’s loving older sister, Sandara of 2NE1, showed her affections with the post, “Happy happy birthday to my little brother Chundoong-ee!".
Singer Rain warmly tweeted, “Happy birthday Doong-ah, our Doong-ee was just a tall and kind high schooler but now you’re a handsome man, I love you our maknae ^^ As for your gift~ I’ll give it to you before enlisting haha“, to which Thunder replied, “Thank you hyung! ㅠ As for the gift… Everything you’ve taught me over the past 2 years has been a gift! The PV shows images of the boys during their performances and as well as backstage videos which makes you feel a bit closer to them and remember all the things they have been through during the past months as well as laugh with their dorkiness.

111010 [NEWS] MBLAQ show their support to Rain is last stage.
World renowned star Rain (real name Jung Jihoon) performed at the Gangnam Hallyu Festival as the goodwill ambassador of Gangnam on October 19th prior to his enlistment in the military. Rain will be entering the military on October 11th and has already completed his nationwide tour.
Rain said, "Before enlisting, this is my opportunity to greet my fans, and I'm finally glad to have the opportunity to fulfill my duty as the goodwill ambassador of Gangnam..
He was Gangnam Hallyu Festival's main act, in which Rain performed in front of 10,000 people for the outside concert. Rain performed a special performance for the free concert.
It was also revealed that MBLAQ came to Rain's last stage to cheer him on.
Mnet will also air a special "World Star" Rain episode lasting 90 minutes on October 11th to bid him farwell.

111011 [NEWS] KBS Talks About MBLAQ's Visit to Peru
Last month MBLAQ's members G.O and Mir traveled to Peru to work on a charity program.
MBC covered the boys visit and KBS posted an article in Spanish about the events. Take a look at the translation and see the way Korean media reacted to the love of Peruvian fans.
The k-pop fever is growing at a fast speed on Latin America and according to some sources the visit made by MBLAQ and Park Jeong Ah caused a commotion in the country.
The three of them traveled to Peru to record a show from the MBC. When fans found out about their arrival around 3,000 Hallyu fans reunited at a local water park since early hours. During the afternoon when the Korean idols appeared on the stage the fans were really excited and some of them approached the stage to get a closer look of the boys causing some minors accidents.
Also some fans were so excited that almost faint but no medical help was needed. The images of the event were share through YouTube where people can see the happiness of the public. The Korean artists had to stop their performances in order to avoid further accidents and keep the safety of the public.
The love of the Peruvian fans was already demonstrated when the group arrived to the airport where several fans reunited with boards written in Korean, but the incident at the water park was a huge surprise for the Korean celebrities who showed their happiness to see the support of the Peruvian public.
Little by little Latin Amercian fans are getting the attention of the Korean media and with this they wish they can have the visit of more idols soon.
111011 [NEWS] MBLAQ's Mir sends a message to his fans + explains why he will temporarily stop Twitter

MBLAQ's Mir sparked worry from his fans a while ago after he revealed that he will temporarily stop updating his Twitter account, along with other internet monitoring.
Earlier today, Mir posted a Twitter update saying, "Shortly, we will stop everything, good luck.", confusing the fans on what it meant. However, to clear things out, Mir updated his official homepage with a long message dedicated to his fans.
At the beginning of his update, Mir apologized to everyone for worrying his fans when he mentioned that he will stop everything via Twitter today. He went on to reveal that, "I become weak to myself endlessly, I don’t know why but the world go well except me, and I feel I’m left alone."
He also explained that when he was training to become an idol, he had a thought that if he became a singer, he wouldn't have the hard work and agony. However, Rain told him that he would be happier during their training and this made him realize that Rain was right. Mir also went on to state that, "After your debut, it would really be so hard and need to think a lot because of one thing and another. So, you must learn how to overcome those things for yourself."
Mir went on to reveal that he usually checks the internet to get consolation from his fans, as he got tired and lost his confidence, but he ended up with more of it. So he decided to stop everything for a while. He confessed that although he reads a lot of input from his fans who care and love for him, he also couldn't avoid to read through the bad comments made against him.
As he monitored their performances, comments and updates, Mir stated that he saw many posts about why MBLAQ wasn't popular and revealed that he truly misinterpreted the posts. However, he admitted that despite the troubles and errors, he recognized that the most important thing was how well he did it for himself.
By the end of his long update, Mir promised everyone that he will work harder than his past efforts, because the upcoming album will be important. Also promising that after working hard, he will return to his fans with a smile on his face.
Mir closed the message with the statement, "Please cheer us and look forward to MBLAQ a lot,,^^"

Hallyu stars Super Junior, MBLAQ & SHINee transform into 90′s KPOP stars for Moon Night 90!
‘Moon Night 90′ is a new fictional drama on Mnet, using old-school Kpop as it’s subject material. The episodes feature today’s hottest celebs acting out fictional episodes at the then-popular Itaewon club, Moon Night.
The show is sure to be a hit with those who are currently in their 20s~30s, as old-school Kpop names like Hyun Jin Young, Deux, Seo Taiji & Boys, Clon, DJ DOC, R.ef, & SOLID bring back nostalgic memories. These groups were the roots that sprouted the Kpop wave.
Today’s top idol stars sing and dance to the classic music that was once performed by their seniors of 10+ years, and the series aims to tell the stories of the greatest dance artists of the 90s and their rise to stardom.
In the preview episode, the story unfolds as Watanabe Susuke from a Japanese broadcasting company comes to Korea to cover a story on the ever-popular Kpop, further putting Korean music in the spotlight.
The first episode told the story of Hyun Jin Young’s first steps to fame. He is performing at Moon Night where he is approached by a representative from SM Entertainment. He auditions for founder Lee Soo Man and becomes the first artist to ever debut under their label. Super Junior’s Shindong played the part of Hyun Jin Young evoking much laughter from the audience, while MBLAQ‘s Thunder and Seungho played the role of CLON, and SHINee‘s Taemin & Key played the roles of Deux.
The series was produced by PD Park Junsu of ‘UV Syndrome‘ while the title soundtrack “Moon Night” was written, composed & sang by none other than UV. Lee Hyundo also makes a rap featuring in the track.
The song was revealed for the first time on set and UV stated, “I wanted to express my respect for Deux while praising the music of the 90s era… We introduce a lot of familiar names in the song.”

According to a Bulgarian music source POPCORE.TV, MBLAQ‘s “Mona Lisa” has surpassed Selena Gomez, Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj, claiming the #1 spot for two months straight!
Member G.O. thanked his fans via his Twitter page saying, “#1 on Bulgaria Music Charts for 60 days in a row!!! Thanks to Bulgaria”
“Mona Lisa” has consistently worked its way up to the top, as it was #9 on August 15th, and became #3 on the 16th. The song is also #1 on Germany’s Asian music charts, and this accomplishment is highly praise-worthy considering the boys have never even performed in Europe.
MBLAQ’s fame however, does not stop in just Asia and Europe. MBLAQ is currently in South America for MBC‘s 2011 K-pop Cover Dance Festival and fans there cannot get enough of the boys. A video of fans awaiting MBLAQ in Sao Paulo at the airport and at their hotel, screaming their names and singing along with their songs were uploaded via Youtube and is receiving much attention.

111022 [NEWS] MBLAQ tops daily chart on ‘Rechocku’ with “Baby U”
MBLAQ is sweeping Japan with their Japanese releases. On October 21st, it was revealed that they had topped the biggest mobile site, ‘Recochoku‘, with “Baby U” on their daily chart.
The achievement is more meaningful in that MBLAQ shot ahead of some big names like Perfume, who came in second, and child star Ashida Mana, who came in third. AKB48 ranked fourth while T-ara placed fifth.
“Baby U” was digitally released on the 20th, so the boys topped it in less than two days, showing that they have what it takes to join the new Hallyu wave.
In addition, MBLAQ is also making waves across the globe, as they placed first for 68 days in a row on Bulgaria’s music chart, Popcore, as well as German charts.
The members of MBLAQ stated, “We’re glad that we were able to achieve such positive results before even starting our promotions. Thank you to our Japanese fans, and we promise to come back with a better image next week.”
MBLAQ’s second single, “Baby U”, will be released on October 26th. MBLAQ also has a Korean comeback slated for the beginning of December.

In addition to hyping fans up with various previews for their Japanese album, MBLAQ‘s G.O. has just revealed his solo track, “Believe” through various Korean music portals today.
‘Believe’ is a song written, produced, and composed by legendary group VIBE‘s Ryu Jae Hyun, Korea’s top producer Park Kyung Jin, and famous composer Choi Sung Il. G.O adds his smooth vocals to the song to complete the inspirational song about believing in oneself.
The song will also be included as a part of the soundtrack for ‘Mr. Idol’.

Idol group MBLAQ will be having their comeback to the local music scene in two months time!
On October 25th, J. Tune revealed that MBLAQ will be releasing their comeback album in early December. An official explained, "The single will be composed of a song or two while the members will promote their new release till the end of January."
The official added, "The group's second Japanese single 'Baby U!' will go on sale in Japan on the 26th. They will promote the song in the country till November and then head off for their overseas activities in Taiwan, Las Vegas and Australia."
MBLAQ made their successful debut in 2009 with "JUST BLAQ" album, and widen up their career with a Japanese debut this year with "Your Luv". The group has concluded their "Mona Lisa" promotions last mid-July and will kick off their Japanese promotions with "Baby U!".
111025 [NEWS] Lee Chunhee to replace MBLAQ's Lee Joon in the drama "Please, Captain"
Actor Lee Chunhee will replace MBLAQ's Lee Joon in an upcoming drama series on SBS. The show's promoter announced today that Lee Chunhee will take on the role of Kang Dongsoo, an air traffic controller in the new series "Please, Captain".
When asked about the role, Lee Chunhee expressed his desire to participate in the project as it will be the first time a Korean drama will be based on aviation. He also revealed that he and the rest of the cast are currently studying hard for the project.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Lee Chunhee stepped into a role originally offered to MBLAQ's Lee Joon. Lee Joon was originally casted for the drama but had to step down due to conflicts with the schedule.
A representative from J.Tune Camp also stated, "We felt that Lee Joon's singing activities are his priority right now since he will be quite busy visiting various countries overseas till the end of the year."
"Please, Captain" will also feature Ji Jinhee, Goo Hyesun, Yoosun and will tell the everyday stories of pilots, flight attendants and crew members that work in an airport. Filming is set to start this November as the show will replace "Deep Rooted Tree" when it ends.

The picture that G.O. uploaded on his Twitter has been garnering attention from netizens and fans alike.

In the photo G.O. is wearing a black shirt and sitting on the floor. The idol singer has been attracting interest for showing off his dandy charms instead of his usual signature masculine charms.

111027 [NEWS] MBLAQ #2 on Oricon Chart – labeled “Kpop Monster” by Japanese press
MBLAQ‘s second Japanese single “Baby U!” which was released on the 26th, sold more than 22,068 copies on the first day of it’s release. With this result, the boys seized the #2 slot on the Oricon chart.
This album is receiving an explosive reactions from Japanese fans, also seizing #1 on the Japanese Tower Records Daily Chart before it was even officially released, as well as coming in at #1 for most ringtones downloaded on the Recochoku site for three days straight.
The city of Shibuya experienced much traffic on the 25th around the Tower Records building, as thousands of fans were eager to get their hands on a copy of the new album after its release. The entire first floor of the building was decorated with various photos and posters of MBLAQ, as well as mannequins that were dressed in MBLAQ stage-dance ensembles.
The Japanese press refer to MBLAQ as ‘K-POP Monsters’, highly praising them saying the boys are on a different level from other Korean idol groups and the five members are flipping Japan inside out.
The boys who also rose to the top of their Oricon chart with their hit single “Your Luv” this past May are firmly making their mark in the Japanese music industry. MBLAQ has left for Japan and the boys will be putting on a ‘high touch & bingo game’ event in Tokyo, as well as Osaka & Nagoya in an attempt to promote their new album.

Through his Twitter, he wrote, “Taking pictures is the best when it’s done in secret.”

111026 [NEWS] MBLAQ's Lee Joon Withdraws from SBS Drama "Fly Again"
MBLAQ’s Lee Joon will no longer be taking part in the upcoming SBS drama “Fly Again.” Recent reports say the role of airplane navigator Kang Dong Soo will now be played by Lee Chun Hee.
MBLAQ’s management agency, J.Tune Camp, said Lee Joon is withdrawing from the drama because of the schedule conflicts with his commitments with the group, according to reports from local news agencies. J.Tune further stated that MBLAQ is expected to conduct overseas activities until the end of the year, and that Lee Joon will prioritize his singing career at the moment.
“Fly Again” would have been Lee Joon’s comeback to the drama scene after a year-long hiatus. It also stars Goo Hye Sun, Ji Jin Hee and Yoo Seon. It replaces “Deep Rooted Tree” and is aimed towards an early 2012 premiere.

Lots of K-pop concerts have been held in Japan in the past year and December won't be an exception as they will be organizing the "K-Pop Festival X-Mas Edition" on December 3rd.
At the moment eight Korean groups and artists have been confirmed to be attending the event including Infinite, MBLAQ, Code-V, solo artists Park Hyunbin and SS501′s Park Jungmin, rookie groups Boy Friend and X-5, as well as the latter’s labelmates The Boss.
The event will take place on December 3rd in Yokohama Arena, Yokohama. It's organized by KBS World and J:COM. Ticket details are set to be revealed soon.

Entertainment company, CJ E&M has teamed up with some of the top Korean music labels in order to help improve the organization of their concerts and further spread the K-pop Hallyu wave throughout the world.
A conference titled ‘CJ E&M Global Concert brand M-Live K-POP Joint Advancement‘ took place on November 2nd in Seoul, and in attendance were CJ E&M representative Ahn Suk Jun, Star Empire‘s Shin Joo Hak, Amoeba Culture‘s Ko Kyung Min, FNC Music‘s Han Sung Ho, Jungle Entertainment‘s Cho Sun Oh, J Tune‘s Jo Dong Won, Cube Entertainment‘s Hong Seung Sung, as well as 6 other representatives from Korea’s top music agencies. The topic of discussion being the launch of a new global concert brand ‘M-Live‘.
Ahn Suk Jun of CJ E&M remarked, “This is the first global concert brand that we’re currently working on with the top names in the industry.”
“K-POP has well established in Korea as well as Asia, but now we want to effectively enlarge our territories in South America as well as the Middle East. We will continue to work on spreading the Hallyu wave world-wide. Our goals are that in the future, not only K-POP but Korean entertainment overall will be established globally.”

Representative Hong stated, “We have done a lot of shows like this before, but we never had enough information about the local community, and we ran into a lot of problems. It’s advantageous for us to partner with a large enterprise when we try to go overseas, it will be much more organized and effective.”
Representative Shin remarked, “We definitely run into issues overseas. When artists travel to perform in other countries, we don’t have any accurate information and sometimes the local performance organizers are nowhere to be found, mid-performance. I think working with CJ E&M should alleviate these sorts of problems.”

Instead of Inkigayo this week, SBS will be broadcasting the "Love Sharing Concert 2011." The event will be taking place on Sunday, November 6th at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium and will start broadcasting at 3:40PM KST.
The artist line-up for this year's concert includes B1A4, Fat Cat, AA, Norazo, The Boss, M.I.B, Dal Shabet, Boyfriend, Kim Kyujong, Orange Caramel, U-Kiss, T-ara, Secret, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Infinite, Davichi, Kim Hyunjoong, and Girls' Generation.
Artists like B1A4, Dal Shabet, T-ara, and MBLAQ who are not currently promoting will be performing their previous hits at the concert. Other artists like U-Kiss, Secret, Brown Eyed Girls, Infinite, Kim Hyunjoong, Orange Caramel, The Boss, Boyfriend, Kim Kyujong, and Girls' Generation will be performing their current hits.

[indent]MBLAQ is the popular Korean boys group consisted of Seungho, Joon, G.O, Cheondung and Mir. They made their debut in Korea in October 2009 with being produced by Korean top artist Rain. Besides their activities as a singer group, each member take many parts in other fields such as dramas, movies and variety shows. MBLAQ unexpectedly visited Tower Records Shibuya! In commemoration of their second single "Baby U!" which is released on October 26th, the exhibition took place at the lounge on the first floor. All the members surprisingly appreared and stood there instead of mannequins while shop is normally open. We will report this event which made lucky fans at there surprised.[/indent]
[center] This is what the lounge looked like on the morning of October 26th. The mannequins, which were there till the day before, have disappeared from the exhibition booth.
Then surprisingly MBLAQ appeared!!
They entered the booth and turned into mannequines themselves?! The lucky fans who were there unexpectedly screamed in happy surprise.
The members said they had practiced being mannequins in Korea. Thanks to their efforts, they made really gorgeous mannequins.
They returned to human from mannequins. The leader Seungho greeted fans and promoted their single"Baby U!".
After that, they left autographs on huge photo panels.
Seungho and Joon wrote their autographs in Japanese!
Mir emotionally stared at the panels.
After the event, they moved to "STAGE ONE" on the B1F and had a photo shooting. While they are at the waiting room, members were practicing voice percussion. They put the best efforts in anything they do. We could see their cheerful and earnest characteristics. It was impressive when the staff asked them how was it being mannequins, they answered "it was fun" with posing again and laughed.

[indent]MBC will host a concert in Sydney, Australia. On the 12th, at 7PM, the K-POP Music Festival in Sydney with famous Korean idols of the Hallyu Wave will be opened to celebrate the 50th year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Australia. SNSD's Tiffany and Yuri will MC the event, while artists such as TVXQ, SNSD, Kara, SHINee, 2AM, CNBLUE, B2ST, 4Minute, Sistar, Secret, MBLAQ, and Miss A will perform.
For this concert, artists have not only prepared their hit songs, but special stages as well. 4Minute and Miss A are preparing Australian pop star Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', and CNBLUE with B2ST's Yoseob, and MBLAQ's G.O. are preparing to form a new band. 2AM's Jo Kwon, 4Minute's Gayoon, and Sistar's Hyorin are preparing a special performance where their vocal skills will be shown, and SNSD and SHINee are preparing a special dance performance. This concert will be broadcasted on December 3rd in Korea.

111109 [NEWS] "Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011" to be aired via TBS Japan this January
The "Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011" successfully wrapped up its concert in Tokyo, Japan earlier today. The event gathered South Korea's leading Korean idol groups as they held the concert in Japan's Saitama Arena on the 9th of November.
The event which was hosted by KARA's Gyuri and Hara, FT Island's Hongki and Big Bang's Seungri, boasted a full line-up which included, KARA, 2NE1, SS501's Heo Youngsaeng and Kim Kyujong, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, ZE:A, Infinite, Teen Top, Dal Shabet and A Pink. FT Island along with Big Bang's Seungri were also confirmed on a later date.
Meanwhile, the full concert is set to be aired by TBS Japan on January 14th, 2012 between 9 and 11 PM. The TV channel officially announced the schedule on their official homepage today, right after the concert had finished.
SBS, who also aired the show last year, still hasn't released an official airing date for the concert. Stay tuned for more updates!

[indent]On Sunday, October 30th at Shinkiba Studio Coast, the K-POP monster "MBLAQ" held high five event for fans who purchased their 2nd single "Baby U!". 1500 people out of those who participated high five event were chosen by lottery and attended the premium live and bingo session.
The blast of a siren and anticipation of fans filled the place then MBLAQ appeared! The live started with "Mona Lisa" while fans screamed really loudly. After that, MBLAQ introduced themselves "Hello, we are MBLAQ!". Seungho said "Long time no see, I'm Seungho, the leader of MBLAQ". G.O followed "We'll gain lots of energy from you today". They also continued "Our second single "Baby U!" is released on Oct. 26th", "Have you heard already?", "Thank you" and enjoyed fans reaction.
Joon ambitiously said "We'll continue to work hard in Japan, so please support us even more". Seungho introduced "Baby U!" as "Our 2nd single is a powerful and exciting song. I'd be glad if this song could give you good vibes". "Alright, alright, alright" Mir answered the audience and introduced the next song. "Please listen, our debut single "Your Luv"". They performed passionately. Seungho's acrobat was outstanding and fans screamed their lungs out. The audience gave the loudest cheer to each members' solo part and the enthusiasm was at the peak then. Along came the MC and moved onto the bingo session.
In order of Seungho, Joon, G.O, Cheondung and Mir, numbers were chosen by the bingo machine and announced. The fans who got bingo were given the prize, which was "Baby U!" cushions with all members' autograph on it. The prize was given from members to fans directly, so the crowds got even more excited. Everytime the number was called, Mir kept asking to fans "Bingo? Bingo?" Then fans said "He's cute".
Five lucky fans received cushions from hands to hands, then even got hugged by each members. Others stared enviously. Then Joon said "It's our last song for today" and G.O continued "Please listen, "Baby U!"". G.O livened up the audience by coming to the very end of the stage, then moved from the right to the left. Seungho shook hands with fans. Mir hurt his eyes while dancing and made fans worry. The way fans supported was really impressive. At last, they took pictures with all fans with yelling "Baby U!".
Seungho commented "Thank you very much for coming today even it's raining". G.O said "We are your boyfriends". Thank you and love you" and fans screamed once again. Cheondung sincerely thanked "I'm really grateful to everyone. I'll work hard" and Joon continued "I'm everyone's Lee Joon" with his shy but cute way of expression. Mir said "I'm fine" and "Thanks for coming everyone. We'll show you better stage next time". All members interacted with fans by throwing towels. Mir was the last one who stayed on the stage and even wiped his sweat in his shirt then threw the towel to the audience and left with hearing fans' laughters and screams.
It was a short, but exciting stage. "Baby U!" has sold 20,000 copies on the very first day and marked #2 on the Oricon Daily Chart. Their debut single archieved #1. No one can stop MBLAQ now. From 28th till 30th, they toured Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo, and high fived with 23,000 people in total.
MBLAQ stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality. They are never behind their band name and surely won people's heart. Their producer Rain has enlisted in the army, so they are working impressively as a group and also individuals in many fields such as dramas, Hollywood movies, variety shows, MC and CF. Can't take eyes off them and wishing the best for them.
