MBLAQ will be following up their “Mona Lisa” promotions with “I Don’t Know” starting next week.
“I Don’t Know” was made by the composers of “Mona Lisa” and tells the story about a guy who doesn’t understand a girl’s heart and mind. The song is particularly favored for its witty lyrics and easy-to-follow melody, and is already expected to become a hit.
MBLAQ’s leader Seungho stated, “Every time people ask what the follow-up song for ‘Mona Lisa’ is, we say ‘I Don’t Know’ and they look at us oddly. ‘I Don’t Know’ is a song which battled ‘Mona Lisa’ until the end for the title song position. You can experience a different MBLAQ charm with this song.”
The boys have just successfully wrapped up their first solo concert, ‘Men in MBLAQ‘ on August 20th and are now busy with their upcoming promotions as well as their Japanese activities.

It draws peoples' attention that the solo song 'Even in my dreams' of G.O(지오) has also been ranked.
Especially on this chart, in which 'I am the best' of 2NE1 has been ranked No.2.
At this moment many korean singers are on that chart and especially MBLAQ is getting really popular.

After completing their title track promotions with “Mona Lisa“, MBLAQ quickly followed up with the more mellow “I Don’t Know”!
Putting aside their usual ‘Chic Idol’ image, “I Don’t Know” captures more of their “perfect boyfriend” personalities as they sing about the stress and worries they must face when trying to understand what their girlfriends are thinking.

It was revealed that, starting from October, MBLAQ, a five-member Korean male group, and Nozomi Sasaki, who is active as a model and a TV star, will be in charge of the theme songs for TV anime “Beelzebub,” airing on Yomiuri TV / Nippon TV.
The much-awaited new single from MBLAQ who accomplished their Japanese debut in May will be used as the opening theme for the anime. Regarding this announcement, they have left a message reading “Since all of the members love Japanese animes, we are very happy that we are able to be in charge of the opening theme!” The details such as the title and the release date will be announced on their Japanese official site later.
It was also decided that Nozomi Sasaki’s third single “Papepipu♪ Papipepu♪ Papipupepo♪”, which will be released on October 26th, will be used as the ending theme. This tie-up was able to become a reality thanks to the producer of “Beelzebub” who wanted to show the viewers the bright, energetic character that Nozomi Sasaki has through the anime’s theme song. The song is a dance tune which has a catchy chorus “Papepipu♪ Papipepu♪ Papipupepo♪” It is anticipated to be a big hit that will show her cute charm just like her debut single “Kamutofunyan”. Sasaki says “Since it is an extremely bright pop song, I want everyone, especially small children, to sing, dance to it and have fun listening!”

MBLAQ is goign to Brazil in order to judge a Dance Cover Contest and will later return to Korea to keep with the activities of the group.
However Peruvian fans were wondering when the members will visit their country and some information has been released.
It looks like only G.O and Mir will visit the country and might stay there during two weeks. They are set to arrive on September 14th and will be recording a special show for MBC while doing charity work. The other three members will remain in Korea.
The information released so far is not complete so we can assure that there might not be changes.

According to Fans information on Twitter, the flight Air France 454 was confirmed at 5:41 am on the Guarulhos Airport in São Paulo, however, exist tweets saying that the group just arrived on Brazil after 6:00 am.

A total of eight idol groups will be judging the qualifying rounds of MBC‘s ‘Cover Dance Festival K-POP Roadshow 40120′, which will take place in various parts of the world.
The show will cover five continents and ten countries, including Russia, Brazil, the U.S., Japan, and Spain. ’40120′ refers to 4,0120 km, which is the distance the idols will travel to experience K-Pop dance covers as judges on the show. The idol groups participating in the show include KARA, 2PM, miss A, SHINee, B2ST, MBLAQ, f(x), and T-ara.
MBC announced, “This show will fall into a new genre, ‘Entertainment Documentary’, which is a combination of a variety show and a documentary detailing the idol groups’ hands-on experience with the popularity and the reality of K-Pop”.

Acronym for : Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality, the boys came to Brazil to be the judges of one round of the contest, what looks for worldwide groups who performance K-Pop dance. The winners of each country envolved on this will compete against each other on the final that happens in Seoul, Korea.
It can be just a little of K-pop, but the crowd will definitely give a little envy to Justin Bieber.
Yesterday, the boys of MBLAQ arrived to much fan fare in Brazil for the ‘2011 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival‘. Many people gave much praise to the Brazilian fans as they showed much love to MBLAQ, but now they’ve taken things to another level.
Earlier today, a fan uploaded a video of the chaotic scene in front of MBLAQ’s hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Reportedly, there were so many people on the scene that the street in front of the hotel was shut down for some time.
I’m sure, the MBLAQ boys were definitely saying “Oh Yeah” upon seeing all the commotion from their hotel rooms. The Brazilian fans definitely deserve an A-Plus for their outpour of love and affection.

MBLAQ was ranked on top in Bulgarian music website.
According to J.Tune Camp on 9th, MBLAQ's new song 'Mona Lisa' was ranked on 1st place in Bulgarian music program POPCORE.TV by surpassing worldwide famous celebrities such as Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Selena Gomez.
'Mona Lisa' has shown constant rising on a chart as the song ranked on 9th in August 15th and rose up to the third in 16th.

MBLAQ’s Mir has been drawing fans’ attention on Twitter for exposing Thunder‘s sensitive personality.
Mir tweeted a picture on September 10th with the caption, “Evidence of the event”. The picture was a screencap of his text messaging history with fellow member, Thunder.
Mir wrote, “I unintentionally missed two calls from Thunder-hyung and he sent me a text saying, ‘Get away from me’, and then after 0.2 seconds, he sent me another text with an apology. After that, it’s been 1 year and 6 months since I’ve received a text from him”.

Upon emerging from the gate at Incheon Airport, the boys proudly stated, “We’re the first Korean idols to visit Brazil. From the moment we got off the plane, we received such overflowing love. The sponsors of the concert didn’t think that a lot of people would show up, so they rented a small hall. Over 6,000 fans came to the hall, however, and some had to wait outside.”

On this episode, the couples are actress Kim Chung and MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon, actress Ye Ji won and Super Junior‘s Leeteuk, singer Lee Juno and Rainbow‘s Jaekyung, 2AM‘s Changmin and Sistar‘s Hyorin, and others will comprise the 13-couple lineup.
The MC’s are Lee Su Geun and singer Jang Yun Jeong.
The couple with the biggest age difference is Kim Chung and Lee Joon; they are 26 years apart. This couple took on the challenge of dancing the tango. The two of them have performed different types of dancing in the past; Kim Chung studied Korean traditional dance and Lee Joon learned modern dance. They seemed to get along very nicely on the show and performed a beautiful tango.
Lee Juno and Jaekyung put on a fire show, surprising the audience. The two made an entrance to Seo Taji and Boys and Rainbow’s songs. After dancing together, they performed with fire, provoking nerves and excitement.
Koo Jun Yup and T-ara‘s Eunjung had the help of 10 backup dancers; Ye Ji Won and Leeteuk incorporated taekwondo into their dance, showing off their creativity.

On KBS 2TV’s Chuseok Special: Lord Of Magic, which aired on the 13th, MBLAQ performed a magic show with green light bulbs.
MBLAQ captivated the audience with their stunning performances such as making letters with magic. Lee Eun Gyul highly thought of their effort and said, “This is a really difficult magic trick, but MBLAQ gladly faced up to the challenge.”
Seung Ho of MBLAQ showed off his card tricks but made a mistake due to G.Na sharp criticism; but he surprised everybody with another magic trick.
Many K pop stars including Eun Ji Won, Hwan Hee, Super Junior, 2PM, Mighty Mouse, T-ara, and Miss A performed magic shows under the supervision of magician Lee Eun Gyul. The winning team will be given a trophy and a flag.
110914 [NEWS] MBLAQ's eye catching magic light performance on "Idol Battle Lord of Magic".
On September 13th, MBLAQ appeared on KBS2TV‘s Chuseok Special, “Idol Battle Lord of Magic” where they put on an eye catching performance using lights.
Using light on the darkened stage, MBLAQ’s five members came together and performed perfectly as one, receiving loud cheers and applause.
Lee Eun Keul, the magician who taught them the routine stated, “When they made an image it became a perfect picture and looked like one piece of art”. He went on to praise MBLAQ saying it was the best performance.
Koyote’s Shinji replied, “It wasn’t just wonderful, it was also a magical performance that sucked me in.”
Jeon Won Ju also praised MBLAQ commenting, “I’m speechless… if they lacked in practice they could’ve never pulled off that performance, it was the ultimate illusion”.
In this episode Super Junior, 2PM, T-ara, Eun Ji Won, Hwan Hee, Z:EA, Koyote, miss A, G.NA, and SISTAR also took the stage with various magical performances.

On KBS 2’s special feature for Chuseok, Shintong Bangtong King Of Books, many young readers appeared to compete their knowledge over books with a team of entertainers.
MBLAQ’s Lee Joon appeared on the team of entertainers. When he was asked, “What have you read recently?” he said, “I read ‘Techniques To Suppress Anger.’”
At hearing this, another emcee asked, “Tell us one of those techniques.” Lee replied, “It said if someone makes you really really mad, get some z’s”
Other entertainers such as Jo Hyung Gi, Oh Young Shil, Kim Tae Hoon, Alex, Suzy, Min, Hyo Lyn, and Bora also appeared on the show.

110914 [NEWS] MBLAQ, Park Bo Young and more to travel to Peru for volunteer work

On September 14th, MBC will be taking MBLAQ, Park Bo Young, Park Jung Ah, Kim Ho Jin, and Goo Jun Yeob on a volunteer trip to Peru for an upcoming broadcast of ‘KOICA’s Dream‘.
The celebrity team will be working with volunteer staff that were chosen out of 7,000 applicants along with several other medical staff. It’s also been revealed that the team will be flying there in economy, not business. MBC explained, “The 65 individuals who are traveling there, including the celebrities, will be flying in economy seats, not business.”
In Peru, they’ll be working to rebuild weak school constructions and remodel bathrooms to have flush toilets. Doctors will also be treating those in need of immediate medical care for diseases that frequent the country.
The team will also be working to spread Korean culture by setting up cultural events like Taekwondo lessons. They’ll be returning to Korea on September 28th, but ‘KOICA’s Dream’ will be continuing on to other countries like Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and Senegal.

MBLAQ‘s popularity in South America is quite evident.
After causing a ruckus in Brazil, MBLAQ members G.O and Mir recently traveled to Peru to participate in volunteer work for KOICA’s Dream.
When Peruvian fans got word that both G.O and Mir were traveling to Peru, they organized a massive gathering in the thousand’s to properly greet and welcome them at the airport. Unfortunately, for the fans, due to security issues, G.O and Mir were escorted away from the large crowd and fans never got a chance to see G.O and Mir.

110916 [NEWS] MBLAQ’s G.O Looks Sharp in Taekwondo Uniform
On Sept. 16, MBLAQ’s G.O tweeted a picture of himself in a Taekwondo uniform. With the caption, “Korean Taekwondo Fighting!” G.O revealed his picture in a traditional Korean martial arts uniform with the black belt around his neck. The Spanish poster in the back indicates the photo was taken in Peru as G.O is also currently visiting the country as part of MBC’s special program titled, “KOICA’s Dream: Peru.”
Netizens who saw the photo commented, “G.O is bada**,” “He’s so cool. It looks perfect on him,” and “He’s an experienced Taekwondo trainer?”
G.O is expected to return to Korea on Sept. 28 after finishing the KOICA initiative where a group of K-Pop celebrities will help rebuild public spaces and provide medical aid to needy children. Last week, MBLAQ visited Brazil to act as judges for MBC’s “K-Pop Cover Dance Festival.” Over 6,000 Brazilian fans gathered to greet the group, and some parts of Sao Paulo had to be blocked off due to fans clogging the streets.

110917 [NEWS] MBLAQ to perform for '2011 Hallyu Dream Concert'
The official line-up for this year’s Hallyu Dream Concert at the Gyeongju Civic Stadium on October 3rd has just been announced!
A total of 19 idol groups and solo artists will be performing on that night. The full list includes: TVXQ, 2PM, SNSD, SHINee, miss A, GD&TOP, Se7en, SECRET, Kim Gun Mo, ZE:A, 4minute, B2ST, G.NA, T-ara, Davichi, SISTAR, IU, MBLAQ, and INFINITE.
The 2011 Hallyu Dream Concert is being co-organized by the Committee of “Visit Korea Year”, the city of Gyeongju, and the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association. It’s also being supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. A total of 20,000 spectators including 5,000 overseas visitors are expected to attend the annual event.

On September 17th, MBLAQ‘s G.O. revealed a new picture taken with fellow member Mir and actresses Park Bo Young and Park Jung Ah during their volunteer work in Peru.

n a more recent interview, rookie girl group member Bunhong shared an unfortunate story. The Blady member was a victim to hateful replies after she starred in a CF with MBLAQ's Thunder.
"I once shot a CF with MBLAQ’s Thunder. It was a CF for a drink, and it was a parody of a music video. I played the role of his girlfriend. Although I was one of the leading roles, my face was never shown on screen," Bunhong began. "In the CF, he kisses me on the forehead just slightly but MBLAQ’s fans misunderstood and thought he kissed me on the lips. I got a lot of hate for that. Fortunately, my face wasn’t on screen," she added with a laugh.
Earlier this month, fellow member Kangyoon also revealed her interests in MBLAQ as she enthusiastically stated, "I really like Lee Joon senior. The charisma that he exudes on stage is amazing."
This new girl group debuted with their first single in July. Blady will continue promoting their debut song "Crazy Day" after the Chuseok holidays.

MBLAQ's 2nd Japanese single to be 'Baby U!'

K-pop group MBLAQ announced new details for their second Japanese single through their official Japanese homepage. This single has been announced to be titled, “Baby U!” (slated for released on October 26th) and this song was previously noted as the latest opening theme song for Nippon TV’s anime “Beelzebub”.
This upcoming single will be sold in four editions: Limited Edition A, B, C and a Regular Edition. The limited versions will all enclose a DVD in addition to the already included CD.
Also, they have announced that they will also hold a commemoration event for this release exclusively for the purchasers of this single titled, ‘High Five Meeting & “Extremely” Limited LIVE & Large BINGO Festival!’. This festival will be held in three different cities in Japan.

110922 [NEWS] Lee Joon cast in new drama 'Fly Again'

Male idol group MBLAQ's member Lee Joon is casted on the new SBS drama "Fly Again" (Script by Nayoung Jung and directed by Dongmin Joo) that is planned to be aired in early 2012.
On Sept 22nd, staff of "Fly Again" commented that "Joon has been casted on "Fly Again" and will be participating on its first script practice on the 23rd.
Lee Joon will be playing an air-traffic controller named "Dongsu Kang". This will be Lee Joon's come back after his last KBS 2TV youth drama "Jungle Fish 2" in 2010
"Dongsu Kang" is described to be bit arrogant but cheerful character who worked at Incheon Airport as an air-traffic controller for 4 years.
"Fly Again" is a drama that will show how a co-pilot becomes a pilot and is still in its casting stage. It is planned to be aired on January 4th in place of SBS drama "Deeply rooted tree"
110922 [NEWS] MBLAQ's G.O talks about his volunteer work in Peru

Earlier this month, several celebrities like MBLAQ‘s G.O. and Mir headed over to Peru on a volunteer trip with MBC‘s “KOICA’s Dream“.
Goo Jun Yeob and G.O. were assigned to a remote village located at an altitude of 3,100m. Aside from being covered with a perpetual layer of snow, the village is also known for having many unmarried mothers who leave their children alone at home in order to work. An organization called the ‘INABIF’ will provide food and after school lessons until they come home. Approximately 200 elderly citizens living alone also reside in the small village.
The group was in charge of the children’s physical activities and art lessons with KOICA staff Kim Hanna. Kim Hanna revealed that she’d always wanted to try a particular art project, but didn’t have the manpower to set it up for the children on her own. The project was titled “The World Is One”, a sort of mural depicting the world.
The stars drew the outline and allowed the 24 children they were overseeing to color it all in. The mural contained iconic landmarks like Korea’s ‘Booyongjung’, Peru’s Machu Picchu, Rome’s Colosseum, Egypt’s pyramids, and India’s Taj Mahal, all of which came together into a beautiful multi-colored drawing of the world.
After the project was completed, G.O. stated, “Drawing in a sketchbook for the first time in a while made me feel like I had returned to my childhood. Because of my busy schedule, I haven’t been able to play with my nephews. I had a lot of fun with the children as if I was with my own nephews. I’m here to do charity work, but seeing the children’s bright smiles really puts me at peace.”
He continued, “Before, I thought volunteer work was simply helping the impoverished, but I realize now that it’s actually something that allows you to experience the many different cultures of the world and to teach you to see things with a broader view. Knowing that my every action was connected to Korea while I’m here, I truly tried my best.”
