After School’s UEE has joined the growing list of celebrity idols who have obtained their driver’s licenses.

On September 1st, UEE posted on her me2day,

“This is my first post in a long time ㅠㅠ Sorry ㅜㅜ Instead, I will reveal a secret to you all!!^^ I…..acquired my driver’s license!!! ^^Eh heh!! ^^ been training during every free moment!! ^^ For safe driving! ^^ You’re going to congratulate me right? *^^*“

UEE also posted a picture of herself dressed casually with natural makeup, sitting in the driver’s seat of a car.

Fans commented, “Drive safey~” “Congratulations on obtaining your driver’s license” and “Congratulations!! Cute picture!!!! Congrats congrats!!”

Lately, UEE has been concentrating on acting for her lead role in the golf drama Birdy Birdy. Also, on August 25th, she made a cameo appearance on the new drama My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox, thanks to her special relationship with the writers of the show, the Hong Sisters.

After School’s Uee was picked as the member who would be best as a ballerina on the group’s reality show Playgirls’ School. Famous ballet dancer Lee Wongook appeared on the show and was asked by the members to “choose which member seems like she would best at ballet by first impression.”

The ballerino answered that Uee, known for her “healthy” body type, seemed like she would make the best ballerina. However, he went on to compliment all the members for their ease in following his ballet steps, saying: “Bravo!”

Through a recent post and photo on her me2DAY, After School’s UEE revealed a different look.

UEE mused, “It’s been a while since I’ve done dark makeup. The weather is nice, and I’m in a good mood as well.”

This single photo has been stirring much curiosity, and several of UEE’s fans commented:

Was she filming a CF, or possibly getting ready for a photoshoot? For now, the reasons are unknown.

On September 25th, MBC aired “Chuseok Special: Part 1 Idol Star Track & Field Championships“, where 130 stars were featured in celebration of the holiday.

UEE revealed in the special, “I can swim really well, but running isn’t my forte. Next time, please include swimming.” MC Kim Yong Man enthusiastically agreed with her quote, earning laughter from good humored viewers.

After School’s UEE transformed her look with a new shoulder-length hairstyle.

UEE’s short and shaggy hairstyle was displayed in a photo shoot spread for this year’s Fall fashion.

It looks like a wig but being known for her usual long, straight hair, this sudden change was enough to gather attention amongst netizens.

Comedians Park Myung Soo and Tak Jae Hoon will be teaming up with After School’s UEE as the main MCs of new SBS variety show, ‘Night After Night’.

According to a representative, ‘Night After Night’ will take on a late night talk show concept, with a time slot in the early hours of the morning. Many people are anticipating what the show will bring, especially with the addition of idol girl group member, UEE, who has been out of sight for a while.

Filming will commence very soon, and the first episode will be aired sometime in November.

We are left still wondering what happened to UEE’s drama, “Birdie Buddy“.

After School’s UEE attended a 2010-2011 Hyundai Mobis Pro Basketball game on October 16th, and she showed off her shooting skills and tried to score some baskets.

That wasn’t the story of the event though, as netizens saw these photos and complimented her new body,

After School’s UEE recently expressed her appreciation for being chosen as the ideal woman by so many people, while making an appearance on MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News.”

When told that top stars such as Jung Woo Sung and Chun Jung Myung chose her as their ideal woman, she stated, “I get surprised when people tell me that so and so chose me. I keep questioning whether it’s really me. It’s such an honor.”

On the topic of the “Idol Athletics Championship,” UEE stated, “I’m really bad at running. MC Kim Jae Dong oppa even told me that I was running too slow. I promise to practice and win next year.”

On the 22nd of October episode of MBC "Entertainment TV", After School member UEE was a guest and was interviewed. She was asked what was her secret's for her "luxury body" and her famous "honey thighs".

UEE modestly answered that she does not have any secret diets or secret techniques in her work out.

UEE revealed that by constantly moving her body everyday, she works out her body and keeps her figure. She said, "I move everyday, every day I stretch my body and by all means I move my body as much as possible."

She was also asked about the "Idol Championships" where she was seen having a hard time at the running event, she said, "I do not really like running. I ran very hard but I failed at the competition. I want to win first place next year so I will practice very hard."

After School member UEE recently showed off her stylish charisma as she became a model for a winter photo shoot.

UEE showed a variety of poses and used sultry expressions during this “Stylish and Chic” concept photo shoot. UEE stylishly modeled an array of clothing, including colorful coats, leopard fur, padding and more.

Also, she shed her signature long hair and tried out new styles such as the short cut and wave hair style.

UEE had been absent from the public eye for some time now due to her busy filming schedule for her upcoming drama “Birdie Buddy“, and fans were happy to see her after a long absence.

Birdie Buddy revolves around golf, as the sport is receiving much attention in the country as many Korean golfers have become very successful internationally. In the drama, UEE plays the role of Sung Mi Soo, a poor girl from the country-side of Korea (Gangwon providence) who dreams of becoming a famous golf star. She forms a rivalry with rival golfer Min Hae Ryung, a girl from a very rich family and gets involved in a love triangle with Lee Yong Woo, who plays the role of a hot shot PGA golf pro named John Lee.
