Recently, girl group 2NE1 has met the main cast of Amazing Spiderman.
On June 14, a red carpet event for Amazing Spiderman was held at the Grand Hall of Lotte mall located in Gimpo Airport in Banghwa-dong, Ganseo-gu, Seoul. There, 2NE1 members spent meaningful time with leading actors of the movie.
Prior to the appearance of the actors, 2NE1 stepped on the red carpet first; they waved and autographed for their fans.
On the stage, the singers shared their feelings upon being invited to the event.Gong Min Ji said, “Among the many man’s in the world, my favorite one is Spiderman.” Sandara Park added, “Spiderman seems sexier than any other heroes.”
After actors presented themselves before the audience, 2NE1 reappeared and greeted them in English.
When Park asked Rhys Ifans, “Have you ever listened to our music?” he answered, “Of course.” But he became lost when asked to name a song he listened to, so the girls sang a line from “I Am The Best.” Immediately, Ifans sang after them.
Park emphasized, “I’m so glad and it’s very exciting to see them (actors) in person.”
“It’s fantastic and exciting,” responded Emma Stone.
Park concluded, “We’re so looking forward to the movie and we’ll be watching it together. Thank you so much for inviting us tonight.”
2NE1 left the place after having a photo session with the main cast and director Marc Webb.

YANG HYUN SUK STATES THAT 2NE1 WILL NEVER HAVE A MEMBER CHANGE
YG Entertainment‘s CEO, Yang Hyun Suk spoke out against potential rumors of a member change in2NE1.
He revealed that a member change in 2NE1 will never happen and the members will remain permanently. Clearing up recent rumors and misunderstandings that generated after the ‘Future 2NE1′ video was revealed.
On July 2nd, Yang Hyun Suk told Star News, “After the video, ‘Future 2NE1′ was released, a few fans were worried that the girls in the video were going to be new members of 2NE1 but that is not going to happen.” He then added, “‘Future 2NE1′ means that the girls are going to become a great girl group in the mold of their 2NE1 unnies.”
Yang Hyun Suk reassured, ”2NE1 is going to continue to be CL, Dara, Park Bom, and Minzy. There will never be a member change in 2NE1 so fans shouldn’t misunderstand or be worried.”
He also added, “The 12, 13 year old girls who are in the video are going to debut 4 years from now. They are not the new girl group that YG is going to debut in the second half of this year.”
Recently, a video titled, ‘Future 2NE1 (4 years later) was ‘released through their yg-life website, with the subtitle stating, ‘ages 12 & 13′. In the video, you can see four girls who are in their early teens, revealing their top-notch skills in singing and dancing.
Shortly after, despite the explanation provided by Star News, there were still misunderstandings of these girls becoming a part of 2NE1. However, with this interview, Yang Hyun Suk re-enforced that 2NE1 members will permanently remain the same way and continue with their activities.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be releasing their digital single “I Love You” on July 5th, officially announcing their comeback. And on the 8th, the girls are scheduled to make their first comeback stage throughSBS ‘s ‘Inkigayo‘.

YG Entertainment "2NE1 Comeback with Complete Transformed Image" One of the hottest K-Pop idol group, 2NE1's brand new song "I Love You" has been released and can be purchased through various online music sites on July 5.

On July 2, a representative of YG Entertainment released an official announcement regarding 2NE1's digital release of their brand new single "I Love You."
The representative stated, "The song 'I Love You' emcompasses an experimental new sound, combining a sensual new melody, with fresh new lyrics and 2NE1 singing a sweet love song could be heard for the very first time since their debut" and gave away some hints to the fans regarding 2NE1's new image. It is predicted that 2NE1 will comeback with a completely transformed image; compared to the previous concepts 2NE1 a more feminine and lovely image is expected to be seen.
The YG Entertainment representative continued, "Their new unique voice will come together to show thier fans a brand new performance" and "The song 'I Love You', an electro-pop track, is one of the many songs Teddy has produced for 2NE1 over the last year."
On the 4th of July, the official teaser for 2NE1's music video was released through their official YouTube channel in addition to the teaser images of Park Bom and Minzy, who are predicted to come back with a more sexy and mature concept this time around.

Girl group 2NE1 canceled their appearance on popular weekend program, SBS "Running Man." It would be hard for them to appear on the show due to their busy schedule and world tour that will start at the end of this month. Big Bang member G-Dragon commented, "2NE1 members are very shy and would not be able to make that big of an impact on the show. They might end up messing up a show by appearing in it." Due to their comeback, they have decided not to appear on any programs and focus only on their music activities. A YG official stated, "2NE1 has no time rest due to their single album, I Love You activities and their world tour," and "Although 2NE1 may look powerful and charismatic on stage, they are actually very introverted and shy when it comes to variety shows."
Since 2NE1's debut, they showed off their unusual and quirky side through their show, Mnet "2NE1 TV." However, since this show was about their real lives and not an actual variety show, it shows that they are not suitable for official tv programs.
2NE1, who also appeared on SBS "Strong Heart," revealed that they were so nervous about this broadcast and that they could not go to sleep.

2NE1 TAKES OVER WITH AN ALL-KILL FOR ‘I LOVE YOU’
2NE1 is back, along with its staggering presence.
2NE1’s I Love You, which was released on July 5, entered all charts, including those on Melon, Mnet, Dosirak, Bugs, Soribada and Cyworld, from the top and has stayed there since.
The song is also garnering interest overseas. It managed to rise as high as no. 2 on the Electronic Song Chart for iTunes U.S.
I Love You combines electronic and trot to come up with a completely new genre.
That 2NE1, the stylish trend setters, would try out trot came as unexpected to many of the group’s fans, but I Love Youincorporates a trot melody on an electronic beat so well that it feels new yet still has the characteristic 2NE1 style in it at the same time.
2NE1 has always tried out a variety of genres, such as electronic, reggae, R&B and ballads, and mixed them with hip-hop; this time again the group showed it aims to take over with even more experimental music.
The group’s performance of the single is also much anticipated. The teaser images of the members previously released showed the members as feminine and sexy women rather than the powerful girls they had always been.
The awaited first performance of I Love You will be revealed through the July 8 broadcast of SBS’ Inkigayo.
2NE1 will then set off to tour 10 cities in seven countries with its global tour New Evolution, starting with the Seoul concert to be held from July 28-29.

Fans have been looking forward to the release of the full music video for the track ever since the teaser and album jacket making-of were revealed. Blackjacks can now mark their calendars as the release date for the “I Love You” music video has been officially announced as Saturday, July 7th.

2NE1 Album 'I Love You' Gains Recognition in U.S Magazine

In popular U.S. magazine, Spin, they wrote, "2NE1's monster single has come back" and "This song is the perfect mesh of the present and the future. Their new appearances even have soccer fans going crazy."
Furthermore, they commented on 2NE1's unique vocals. Spin particularly called out on member CL's rap. They compared her to singer Kesha and said that her voice was on the same level. Also, they received more praise after hearing that the album concept was produced by DJ and producer David Guetta.
2NE1 also ranked number 3 on Spin's "2011 Best Albums Top 20." 2NE1 beat artists such as Coldplay, Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson on the list. 2NE1 will begin their world tour, 'NEW EVOLUTION' starting on July 28 and 29 in Seoul.
3 Elements of Experiment in 2NE1's Comeback, Will They Work?

K-Pop idol group 2NE1 released their brand new song titled, "I Love You" on July 5 and became No.1 on almost every music chart. Since their debut, all four members of 2NE1 appeared as powerful and independent women. It seems as though, this time around, 2NE1 will captivate the hearts of both, male and female fans with their whole new level of charisma and talent.
1 More Lovely/More femininity
For the song, "I Love You," 2NE1 chose to come back with a sexy concept in order to successfully portray the emotions of a woman longing for love. "Sexy" is far from the previous concepts 2NE1 previously focused on since their emphasis was strictly on the quality of music and performance as well as their charismatic "girl-power" image. Hence, it is only natural that the level of anticipation building up for their official comeback is unimaginable, especially since our prediction of their image transformation is surely nowhere near impressive as what 2NE1 will actually bring to the table.
In order to deliver the emotions of a woman that are present in their songs, from their makeup to their facial expressions, everything about 2NE1 had to be taken up a notch. In the teaser images that have previously been released, all four members of 2NE1 are wearing glamorous makeup on their faces while wearing sexy but classy outfits that scream out the words lovely and feminine.
Regarding 2NE1's transformation, YG Entertainment stated, "One of the reasons we wanted to test this drastic change in their image is because we want to prevent 2NE1 from being trapped in their own image, unable to express or portray any other concept."
2 Mixture of Electronic & Trot
The concept of 2NE1's new song, "I Love You" is attempting to portray is the emotions of a woman who dearly longs for love. Although the concept is a cliché in the music industry, 2NE1 kicked it up a notch by creating a mix of trot (the oldest form Korean pop music) and electronic music.
The rhythm of trot, that is familiar to Koreans, mixed with the fresh and trendy feel of electronic music, clearly demonstrates 2NE1's willingness to take risks. The song will be easy on the ears of those who are unfamiliar with electronic music since the addicting rhythm of trot will be present.
"I Love You" was produced by YG Entertainment's very own, Teddy. The song contains lyrics like, "I want you to only care for me. Only smile at me. Don't make me feel jealous. Don't make me obsessive", which honestly and literally expresses the expectations of women in love.
3 Music, and Only Music
Recently, 2NE1 politely declined an invitation to appear on the SBS TV show "Running Man". YG Entertainment strictly announced that 2NE1 will not appear on any TV shows while they tour and perform in front of their fans with their new music."
It is very common, especially for idol stars, to appear on TV shows in order to promote their new album. However, 2NE1 has always been hard to see because of their introvert personality. Instead, their emphasis was put on music, and only music.
Sandara of 2NE1, revealed, "We're all very introverted and quiet in real life, unlike the way we present ourselves on TV so it takes a lot out of us to make TV appearances."
YG Entertainment released the statement, "Three weeks after the release of 'I Love You', 2NE1's second album will be released. Instead of releasing the album as a whole, we want to introduce one individual song at a time."
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will begin their global tour "New Evolution" at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium on July 28 and 29.

YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun Suk revealed his special attentiveness to the member of 2NE1, which resembled the mannerisms of a father-figure.
During an OSEN's interview with Yang Hyun Suk regarding idol group 2NE1's comeback, "My heart gets filled with sorrow each time I think of 2NE1. Whenever an artist is preparing for their comeback, I basically live with them for a couple of months to guide them but I couldn't do it for 2NE1's comeback this time."
Since December of last year, Yang Hyun Suk has been busy from appearing as a judge in the SBS audition program "K-Pop Star." On top of that, as CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk only naturally had countless other meetings and things he had to take care of. Yang Hyun Suk stated that his busy schedule prevented him from taking a big part in preparing for 2NE1's comeback.
Yang Hyun Suk added, "The month of July, when 2NE1 will reveal their transformation, is the most popular time frame that numerous artists choose for their comeback date. I should have been more attentive to 2NE1 especially since their debut date was scheduled to be in July, the 'Comeback-Boom' month but I couldn't be there for them which I am very sorry for."
He then continued to say, "Therefore, I cancelled everything in my schedule for this week to basically live with them for the week to basically live with them. I was able to have a final look and communicate with 2NE1 about their choreography and songs right before their comeback."
Also, "I am always grateful and sorry for the members of 2NE1, who are like my own children to me. I will be more attentive to them at the second half of this year just as much as how absent I was in the first half. I'm very thankful to have these girls of 2NE1 who, sometimes, are like my little sisters and other times, my daughters," and revealed the special spot in his heart that he has reserved for only the girls of 2NE1.
Yang Hyun Suk will appear as a judge once again in the SBS' "K-Pop Star 2," which will keep his hands full along with the other duties he will have as CEO of YG Entertainment. Regarding his busy schedule, Yang Hyun Suk stated, "I've been unbelievably busy, that I barely had any time to rest. However when I was with 2NE1, I didn't want them to see that I was exhausted because I didn't want to burden them. The past week that I spent with 2NE1 to finish preparing for their comeback was worth every second."
2NE1 released their new song, "I Love You" along with a music video teaser on July 5. When you hear the song, "I Love You," you can hear the trot style beat in the beginning of the song. For a group that has always done hip-hop, this is a huge transformation.
Of course, the song also has some electronic sounds and a rap part at the end to make it more 2NE1's style.
Also, unlike their usual powerful and charismatic songs, this song is a sweet love song.
The main point is that although they have mixed two totally different styles of music, the song does not sound awkward. It may be because of their famous producer, Teddy who wrote and produced the song.
After the release of their song, it ranked number one on various music charts such as Bugs, Sori Bada and other music sites. They also ranked number 2 on the U.S iTunes Electronic Chart.
Another reason for their overwhelming popularity is because of their new song that will be releasing in 3 weeks.

2NE1 has always been a daring group. Whether it be their visual aesthetics to their musical colors, the four ladies have been unstoppable when it comes to pushing boundaries, meriting fashion and music to produce their own style.
Just over three years ago, the girls were introduced to the music scene at a time where the cute and sexy concepts were set as marketing trends by many agencies. However, 2NE1 stood out and begged to differ.
The girls strived to show that girl groups don’t always have to cater to male listeners, that the message of independence and empowerment can and should be delivered to the mainstream audience. But most importantly, they wanted to show that a girl group is more than capable of stepping out of the usual girl group mold of K-Pop: they wanted to stand out.
Taking hip-hop as the main core, 2NE1‘s music has changed throughout the years. Whether it be the minimal, gothic ballad number “It Hurts,” to the club-banger “I Am the Best,” the girls are back once again with the challenge to reinvent themselves with a new look and a new style of music.
The release of “I Love You” is a brand new step for the girls. Producer Teddy Park tells that the song went through a long process of tweaking until it was deemed fit for the mainstream audience.
“The song, at first, had a very heavy “trot” feeling. If you compare the song to what it sounded like at the very start, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was the same song,” says leader CL, “We had to keep on changing it to make it a little more radio friendly.”
However the song, to the girls, still sounds foreign. “Well, we call it a hybrid of electropop,” continued CL, “The song might be a little more familiar to our Japanese listeners because it takes the mold of the traditional “enka” genre. Our international fans may find the sound on the song as something new and refreshing.”
For 2NE1, their new single holds another important motive that steps off the territory of musical innovation and fashion. The girls stated that they wanted to give their international fans a little taste of the Korean culture. From the modernized hanbok to the Samgomu dance (traditional Korean drum dance) in “I Am the Best,” the girls continue their attempt to incorporate little elements of Korea into their performance and videos.
For 2NE1, the look is just as important as the music. A new single means a complete make over for the girls, and as expected, 2NE1 has brought forth a newer, exciting and, of course, shocking look. Member Dara showcased her “half-shaven” hair do, a rather uncommon choice of style, especially for a girl group member. Dara has always been credited as the experimental member having gone through a wide selection of wacky hairstyles in the past.
“I think I keep going for different looks because, to be quite frank, I think I lack the charisma and individual charm that the other members have,” confesses Dara, “I gain a lot more confidence as a performer when I go for more experimental styles.”
“I don’t know if this half-shaven look is shocking enough,” continues Dara with a laugh, “I think I should have gone for something a little more stronger!”
Much like 2NE1’s promotion cycles in the past, they will yet again be promoting various songs, one by one, to support the record. “I Love You” will serve as their single for the pop lovers, while they will be releasing an urban single to satisfy the cravings of their more hip-hop inclined fans.
For 2NE1, 2012 will be a fresh new start. They will not just be promoting in their home turf, but overseas as well. The girls recently announced their world tour, a first for a girl group in the history of Korean pop music. Kicking off at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, the tour will make stops at 7 countries. The show is the end product of collaborating with various choreographers and directors: Travis Payne, famed for working with Michael Jackson, and Beyonce’s tour director of music Divinity Roxx are just to name a few. “The most exciting time for a artist is when going on tour,” says CL, “Now I know why artists crave to be on stage; it’s just such an amazing experience.”
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be releasing an English version of “I Love You,” especially made for their international fans. They have also shown interest in returning to the Japanese industry once more. “We feel as if we haven’t had a proper chance to get to know our international fans that well,” says 2NE1, “Hopefully we will be able to change that with the start of our tour.”
“There is no such thing as the ’2NE1 style.’ We’re not a group that will stick to one color,” concludes CL, “Predictability and normalcy; it’s all so boring, isn’t it? We will never stop reinventing ourselves; we’ll always be the group with no boundaries, no limits and no answers.”

2NE1 and Big Bang’s Taeyang will both come out with new songs this coming November. 2NE1 Confirmed for SBS Gayo Daejun 2012 & Possibly Attending MBC Gayo for a YG Family “Surprise Show”
The three major broadcast stations are gearing up for their year-end music festivals called ‘Gayo Daejuns’ (Song Festival) and fans are eagerly waiting to hear whether their favorite artists will appear on the lineup.
It should come as no surprise that 2ne1 are NOT expected to attend KBS‘ music festival. The broadcaster and YG Entertainment have a well-documented history of not getting along and it has been several years since a YGE artists has participated on their music shows.
It should also not come to any surprise that 2NE1 has already been confirmed to attend their preferred broadcaster, SBS’ Gayo Daejun. In fact, the program has already been added to the girls’ official schedule.
This year, SBS seems to be going all out to create a memorable program. One of the more memberoable stages of past years would have to be 2NE1′s 2010 collaboration stage performing ‘Excuses‘ with legendary singer Kim Gun Mo. If you have never seen it, you are in for a real treat.
Lastly, and possibly most perplexing is MBC. Yesterday, OSEN (known to have pretty accurate YG-related news) reported that 2NE1 and the rest of YG Family, except Psy who is still promoting overseas, were preparing a ‘surprise show’.
It will be the first time since 2008 that YG Artists will grace the stage as a family unit for a Gayo Daejun.

Top idol group Big Bang, who has been busy with their global tour has been unable to appear on programs for some time. The announcement of their appearance has peaked the interest in many fans for the Gayo Daejun show. Also, MBC is planning to offer a block of their show for a joint stage of YG family groups Big Bang and 2NE1. These stages are expected to carry the famous YG Family concert feel which will surely attract viewers… In addition, viewers can look forward to a performance by Lee Hi who has topped the charts at number 1 for 14 consecutive weeks.”
However, since the initial report, YG has stated it isn’t 100%confirmed, they are still in discussions and will give the finalized announcement next week. As of this writing, 2NE1′s official schedule has not been updated to include MBC’s Gayo. We will keep checking and let you know when their appearance is confirmed.
