2NE1's Concert Spring/Summer Schedule, Sorting Fact from Fiction
t seems like things are really gearing up for 2ne1, they are expected to headline at least two and possibly more concerts in the upcoming months. However, it seems there is some misinformation floating out there. We wanted to clear up the confirmed information from the tentative and still pending events.
2NE1 CONFIRMED: Angel Price Music Festival
On April 17, 2011; 2NE1 along with MBLAQ will perform for the Third Act from 4:30PM to 5:30PM KST of the 5-Part Angel Price Music Festival. The Festival is hosted by Coupang, "a commerce site, that features exclusive deals on what the best of korea has to offer." Concert attendess will get even steeper discounts on various items. In fact, the Concert has already made it onto the Stadium's official website HERE. Proof Label, the organizers of last year's successful Korean Pop Night, have gone all out for this year's event as its in a much bigger venue and getting major publicity. Tickets are not yet available but will be sold through SISTIC.

On April 21st, Park Bom's solo, "PLEASE DON'T CRY" will be released as a digital single.
This is her second single after "YOU & I" And "Please Don't Cry" is an R&B Dance song with a fast tempo, and a house beat that matches the piano melody well. The song was composed by Teddy, who is responsible for the birth of 2NE1's representative hit songs. (The music video will be released on 12AM on the 21st)
Unfortunately, we do not have plans to promote Park Bom's solo song on music shows however we're planning to extend 2NE1's promotions aggressively until the end of August.. (The Japanese debut is planned for September)
What about these active and aggressive promotions?
Different from the last mini album, through which we introduced the triple title songs, Can't Nobody, Go Away and Clap Your Hands, ….. and then proceeded to follow up with "It Hurts" This time, every 3 weeks, one by one, 2NE1's new songs will be released in order, This opportunity be able to plan dispersed promotions Was due to our satisfaction with the newly completed 2NE1 songs being higher than ever We intend to promote all 6 songs of the mini album as title songs.
2NE1 TV Season 3 Production
Along with 2NE1's new promotions, another great interest of all the fans is the production of '2NE1 TV Season 3'. WIth the plans to film Season 3 with the 2NE1 TV Season 1 director, Choi PD, the broadcast date for Season 3 is planned for the beginning of June. In order to create higher viewership than ever, we are currently planning to structure the broadcasts a bit more.
2NE1's First Solo Concert
We plan to host 2NE1's first individual concert at the end of this August. We have already scouted out the venue, and with 2NE1's existing songs And as well as the 6 songs that will be released, it seems like we will have a more fun and fruitful concert. We hope that many fans will support and anticipate…. 2NE1's new music in addition to their lively promotions.

On May 2nd, Will.I.Am made a visit to the YG Entertainment building in Korea for a four hour-long meeting with Yang Hyun Suk, 2NE1, and Teddy regarding 2NE1’s American advancement.
Despite it being only a three-day stay, Will.I.Am expressed his excitement in working with 2NE1 by asking the girls to try recording a song that he’s been working on in the States.
Representatives of YG Entertainment commented, “Through Will.I.Am’s visit, we feel that we’ll be able to get closer to materializing a release date for 2NE1’s American advancement album.”
2NE1 is currently scheduled to release their official comeback title track, “Lonely“, on May 12th.

As previously reported, YG announced that 2ne1tv Season 3 will return this summer. Choi PD, the producer of Season 1, recently posted an unconventional tweet on twitter, advertising for staffs for the new season.
Star News reports that Mnet’s ‘2NE1TV‘ which is a show that depicts each 2NE1 member’s day-to-day life appears to be returning. On May 4th, Mnet producer Choi Jae Yoon tweeted,
"Welcome all who are ’senseful’ who would like to make ‘2NE1TV’ with me; whether you’re in manufacturing, a freelancer, or in production ^^“
Producer Choi even revealed his email address (jaeyoonc@hanmail.net) in order to accept resume’s from various applicants.
Netizens who came across his post said, “I anticipate what kind of program producer Choi will come out with this time” “Hiring on Twitter, sure is extraordinary” and “I’m excited to see the returning ‘2NE1TV’”
This has captured more attention because an overflow of people have expressed their intent to apply for the job.
An Mnet representative stated,
“The preparation of ‘2NE1TV’’s return is in it’s early stages… And though it’s airing date is still up in the air, this Twitter job posting seems to have heightened expectations for the show early on.

2NE1 CONFIRMED: The Party in Manila On June 4, 2011, 2NE1 will perform in the Philippines for the first time at the Araneta Coliseum. 2ne1 is expected to perform a number of their popular hit songs.

Today, the banner for the event was posted by Tickenet, who will be handling most of the ticket sales (VIP and VVIP will be handled directly by Pulp.) We have also learned that The Bloomfields, Philippine All Stars, Techy Romantics, Callalily, and Christian Bautista will be performing at the event as well. Seeing this great list of performers the event should be very fun for all fans.
The Bloomfields
The Bloomfields is a Filipino band of five energetic and young musicians that specializes in covering classic Rock & Roll songs. They recently released their first all-original album Hit The Ground Running. "Despite the music industry’s generally skeptical attitude towards cover bands, this group of young musicians, popular for their first-rate renditions of ‘60s and ‘70s rock music and embraced by fans for their youthful punch, is defiantly cementing its name in the business. Calla Lily
Kean Cipriano of Calla Lily confirmed their appearance as a front act for 2NE1 via his twitter account.
Kean Cipriano along with Tatsi Jamnague, Aaron Ricafrente and Lemuel Belaro are members of a Filipino Rock Band, Calla Lily. Debuting in 2006 they shook the Philippines with their hit song, Stars. Their first album, "Destinayion XYZ" contains 12 singles that proved their fresh and juvenile energy as they mark the top spot of different Philippine Music Charts and Year-enders.
Techy Romantics
The Techy Romantics are an electronica trio composed of Camyl Besinga, Ryan Villena, and Dondi Virrey. The group was formed June 2008. When the Techy Romantics start playing, the beats begin breathing, guitars come a-stirring, vocals creep in, and then the songs, they just come alive. There's just this powerful surge of energy that nobody can resist.
Christian Bautista
Christian Bautista is a Filipino singer, actor and model. He is a multi-platinum selling artists who has gained popularity not only in the Philippines but in other countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. His latest album Romance Revisited from Universal Records received the elusive Quadruple Platinum Record Award for its outstanding sales, a rarity in the recording industry in recent years. Despite the date change, Mr. Bautista will be performing at The Party.
Philippine All Stars
The Philippine Allstars was started in 2005 by 12 friends who came from different backgrounds, but wanted to collectively represent their country in the World Hip-Hop Championships held in the US. They won the 2006 and 2008 World Hip Hop Dance Championships. The group hopes to elevate the status of dancers in the Philippines, because for too long have dancers been considered second-rate performers. Through their efforts and many talented others, they want to show that dancing is a great art form and should be more respected and rewarded than what is currently being offered by the entertainment industry. There motto is "One Love. One Hip Hop. One God. Sarap lang."

TRANSLATION: Do you guys happen to…want 2NE1 to appear on television programs? Perhaps.. on May 29th @ 4PM KST, 2NE1 to perform “Lonely” for the first time on television..most likely on SBS Inkigayo. 100% chance.
Although they’ve said that they wouldn’t promoting “Lonely“, it seems we should’ve known better. After dropping two hints through their YG-Life blog yesterday, YG Entertainment trolled us all by announcing that 2NE1 will be performing “Lonely” on SBS’s “Inkigayo“.
Through YG-Life, representatives stated, “On May 29th, 2NE1 will be performing ‘Lonely’ on broadcast only once.”
Representatives of “Inkigayo” elaborated, “Although they’ve already announced that they wouldn’t be promoting it, fans have been making endless requests and the 2NE1 members themselves wanted to stand on stage for it as well.”

2NE1 were among the top major girl groups mentioned on CNN Go's “50 reasons why Seoul is the worlds greatest city” with the girl group domination landing at #32.

2NE1 & the Most Popular K-POP Artists Gather in Japan!
With DBSK, 2PM, [2NE1] and such, 12 groups have hurried over to Osaka together for a charity concert hosted by the Korean broadcasting company SBS, titled as "The Great East Japan Earthquake Relief Aid Seoul-Osaka Music of Heart 2011 'FIGHTING JAPAN'".
Yesterday (June 7th), not less than 30,000 enthusiastic fans assembled at the Kyocera Dome Osaka for one miraculous night, becoming a melting pot of enthusiasm and excitement. The participating artists as well as the setlist that they followed with, everything will be detailed in this report!
The concert started at 6:30PM. An enormous screen was set up and the names of the artists were projected over it one by one. Loud cheers were raised all over the concert hall.

At one breath, the concert grounds had wildly changed into a dance hall as the 4-member hip-hop girl group 2NE1 came out! A burst of silver confetti danced around the stage, the audience getting up to dance as well! The girls performed "Fire", "Go Away" and "Can't Nobody".
The girls are regarded as fashion leaders, showcasing that and their individual styles with their clothing. Even if there was a large number of girls in the hall donned in rock fashion, they raised loud cheers for the girls.
Although there are no 2NE1 fancams, fancam laws in Japan are notoriously strict, comments from jfans who attend have been very positive.

First of all… due to internal affairs, I want to give my greatest apologies for the delay of 2NE1's new song.
We have decided that 2NE1's next new song after Don't Cry and Lonely will be released on June 24th and the title of the song will be
This song is a work of YG's main producer Teddy, and it is a powerful song, with a mixture of electronic and hip hop genres with a fast beat. It is a song that is expected to generate good response to the fans who have liked 2NE1's debut song, Fire, as well as 2NE1's musical style that has captured the younger generation.
Although they have not been doing promotions previously, this time 2NE1 is planning to make a comeback and do broadcast activities with The Very Best.
It has only been about 9 months after 2NE1's first full length album that was released in September, which included Can't Nobody, Go Away, Clap your Hands and It Hurts, since 2NE1's new song has included broadcast activities.
The music video for was directed by director Seo Hyunseung, and it will be released on the 24th along with the song at 12AM.
2NE1's mini album release date Currently the date planned for 2NE1's mini album release is July 21st, and the mini album will include the previously released Don't Cry and Lonely, and . In addition, we are also planning to add two or three new songs. Since it is an album that we have worked on for a very long time, we have many plans, however we will reveal the full details at a later date. . 2NE1's First Solo Concert
On August 27th and 28th, we are planning to have 2NE1's first ever solo concert. The location will be the "Olympic Hall" located in the Jamsil Olympic Park.
After a long period of construction, the Olympic Hall will be transformed into a special concert hall and is expected to hold about 4000 audience members in one hall.
Compared to the typical concerts that have been held by YG, it isn't that big of a scale, however since this is the first concert after 2NE1's debut, rather than being over zealous , we will work so that it can be a fulfilling and fun concert where they can get a bit closer with the fans.
We expect to start selling tickets on July 7th, and for full details about the concert, we will be releasing an official announcement next week on YG and 2NE1's homepage.
Other News The air date for 2NE1(TV) Season 3 has not yet been set. However we will be filming in a guerilla style, like we had first planned, every time a good idea pops up, and broadcasting it like that, on YG ON AIR which has so far had a total of 6 episodes.

2NE1 posts promo and shoutout videos for their 1st solo Concert – NOLZA As mentioned before through YG Entertainment’s Official Blog, ‘YG-LIFE,’ more detailed information about 2NE1’s first concert has been announced.
Titled ‘2011 2NE1 1st Concert - NOLZA‘, will take place in Olympic Hall, at Olympic Park in Seoul. The concert will take place in the same venue as the YG FAMILY concert back in December of 2010. The world NOLZA roughly translates to “let’s play” in English.
The concert will take place on back-to-back dates, the first being on August 27th at 6PM and the second concert on August 28th at 7PM. Tickets will go on sale starting on July 14th, at 8PM KST, which will be sold on Gmarket for 88,000 Korean WON (not including tax), which converts to around $83 USD.
For this concert, the 2NE1 members also gave a special shoutout to their fans
