Go behind the scenes of B2ST’s fanclub inauguration



A few days back, B2ST held their first fanclub inauguration/fan meeting for their official fanclub, ‘B2UTY‘, at the Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul. Sports Korea went behind-the-scenes and recently released their photos of the boys celebrating the event.

Doojoon started off by stating, “It’s been well over a year since our debut, but it’s only today that we’re opening our inauguration. For that, we’d like to apologize to our fans. I hope everyone has fun today.”

Hosted by gagwoman Kim Shin Young, B2ST celebrated the occasion with 5,000 special fans and performed numerous hit tracks like “Shock”, “Special”, “I Like You the Best”, “Oasis”, “V.I.U.“, and “Beautiful“.

The boys also hosted a special corner called ‘Ask B2ST’, in which the members answered select questions from their fans. When asked to choose the most ‘mom-like’ member (a.k.a the one who nagged the most), they all chose Junhyung. When asked to choose the member who ate the most, maknae Dongwoon was chosen.

The event was also concluded with a surprise birthday party for member Kikwang.

The group BEAST had celebrated their meeting with fans through a hotly fan service.

On
the 2nd, each of the members had appeared in front of the camera with a
pose that displayed their self at the Seoul Hwajung Gymnasium for their
fan meeting / fan club inauguration.

The fanclub’s name is
B2UTY. It is a fan club name that matches very well with BEAST. Holding
their fan club inauguration in 1 year and 6 months since their debut,
Yoon Doojoon stated, “It has been over a year since our debut so we
apologize for holding the fan club inauguration now. We also hope that
everyone here would have a fun time.”
Filled with continuous laughter
and cheers throughout the meeting of b2uties and BEAST, Sports Korea
was there to cover the event.

# Reveals?
At the event,
the members played the ‘Son Byungho Game’. Whenever someone said
something that applied to another person, that person would climb up the
stairs one by one. They attracted the fans attention with topics like
“fake sideburns,” “real height,” and “the amount of money they actually
make.”

# The day Kikwang’s ears fell off
Kikwang, who
recently had his birthday, received a birthday cake at the event.
Perhaps it is because Lee Kikwang had received praises from 5,000 fans,
but his smile is stretched up to his ears.

# If it is with Kim Shinyoung
The
MC at the event was the comedian, Kim Shinyoung. Through her clever
phrases, the laughter came out nonstop. In the segment about ‘Let’s ask
BEAST’, Yong Junhyung was chosen as the member like a mother with the
worst nags and Son Dongwoon was chosen as the member attracted the most
with food.

segments with the members, BEAST sang

hype everyone up.

Before
the event, the members each posed a different pose to show the fans.
Compared to the loud laughs and thumb pose from Yoon Doojoon and Lee
Kikwang, the cute pose of Yang Yoseob with the V pose makes him look
adorable. Jang Hyunseung, Yong Junhyung, and Son Dongwoon stood in front
of the camera with a pose full of charisma.

The sweet meeting of the 7 ‘fairy idols’ of A Pink and BEAST’s Lee Kikwang is the hot topic among netizens.

B2UTY AND B2ST's OFFICIAL COLOR REVEALED!!!

BEAST while recording for "On a Rainy Day" shed a sea of tears



While recording their pre-released track “On a Rainy Day” every member of BEAST shed tears.


At midnight on May 12th, BEAST pre-released one of their songs on their first official album “On a Rainy Day” through several music sites.


“On a Rainy Day” is a sweet ballad which was an instant hit on the music charts as soon as it was released, receiving very good responses.
On the 12th, a company representative stated “While singing the song, the members of BEAST, drunk with emotions, all shed tears” and “The recording had to be stopped multiple times because they couldn’t hold back their tears.”


Following this they stated “We’re surprised that the responses for the pre-released song is pretty good” and “You’ll be able to see a more developed and improved BEAST”


Meanwhile, BEAST’s first official album “Fiction and Fact” that is going to be released on the 17th is armed with an impressive line-up of songs, including their title track “Fiction”.


“Fiction” is a song that is more focused on the melody and the lyrics, different from the usual BEAST songs with strong beats. The song brings out each members unique voice and through high class producing, the song was given an overall lyrical mood, upping the quality of the song.


With every album they released, BEAST has always been #1 in album sales and has been evaluated as a strong group in album sales. With the release of their first official album, people are interested to see how well the album will do. BEAST’s first official album “Fiction and Fact” will be released online and in stores on the 17th.

BEAST's surprise fanmeeting with 1500 people 'Hug+Sexy Dance' lots of fanservice




Coming back with the song 'Fiction,' BEAST finished their first week of comeback promotions with a surprise fanmeeting.

After
May 22nd's Inkigayo appearance, BEAST presented 1500 fans with a lot of
fanservice at their surprise fanmeeting at a nearby park.

That
day starting from early in the morning, as many as 1200 fans already had
gathered in order to watch BEAST's 'Fiction' comeback stage. After
their comeback, as the names on the upper names of the charts came up,
BEAST's popularity that was putting up a good fight could be seen.

At
BEAST's mini fanmeeting, in order to respond to the fans that supported
them a lot during their comeback stage, they made 1500 fans go crazy
with a diverse display of fanservice.

Not only did they sing all
the songs on the album following a sudden request from the fans, they
provided many gifts such as aegyo and hugs to a fan picked by lottery.
Member Jang Hyunseung did a wave and sexy dance without music, to which
fans responded to by cheering.

BEAST showed their happiness,
saying "We were so surprised when we saw all the fans that had come in
the morning. This is the first time that so many people had come for the
music recording since debut." They then expressed their thanks by
saying "Please love us even more in the future. We'll work hard."

That
day, leader Yoon Doojoon had to leave first due to a filming schedule
overseas. He gave his thoughts, saying "I'm sorry I can't stay with you
until the end of the fanmeeting. Thank you for waiting. We were really
touched."

Meanwhile, BEAST showed their force in performance with
a strong dance for 'Fiction' that had been called 'Domino Dance' among
other names, showing the member's motions with flashy footwork. BEAST
had a contest for the name of this dance.

BEAST plans to continue
actively promoting while showing their mature sensitivity and charisma
through their title track 'Fiction.'

Shindong's sister's love and loyalty to BEAST humiliates other flower-boy celebrities



He (Shindong) said "One day I called and she came unlike the usual,

BEAST concert?' Shindong added 'My little sister's a BEAST fan.Together

BEAST, "Too early to compare us to Big Bang and 2PM"



Group BEAST had shaken their heads in a comparison with idol groups Big Bang and 2PM as their competitors.

On the 17th, BEAST had met with the reporters in Seoul Yeido and reveled their thoughts on finishing the ‘Fiction and Fact’ promotions they stated, “We were really happy these days thinking back through the years, since debut, if we ever received this much amount of love.”

BEAST, who will be heading to Japan for oversea promotions with the end on the 19th with SBS ‘Inkigayo’, had gained the title “Fad of the Music Industry” with the release of their first official album.

However, BEAST members replied, “Many people compare us to Big Bang and 2PM saying that we are at our highest points as well, but even though that feels good, we are scared of those words. Honestly, we think that it is too early for us to listen to those compliments.”

They added modestly, “If we already reached our highest points, doesn’t that mean that we only have time before we start falling? We still believe that we have a long way to go. In a thought of starting again, we will try our best. There are still a lot of things we need to accomplish.”

From BEAST’s first official album containing 10 songs, the title song ‘Fiction’ as well as ‘On Rainy Days’ had gained much popularity.

According to the GAON charts that measures the sales of albums in Korea, BEAST had sold a total of 90,000 albums in a month from May which got their the first place in monthly music charts. Also, they had placed first mixed with triple crowns on Mnet ‘M countdown’, KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’, and SBS ‘Inkigayo’, concluding with 8 trophies in total.

For them who had completed their first album promotion successfully, they will be heading to Japan on the 20th and will open their doors for their Asia Tour. After their Japan promotions, they will be traveling and having fan meetings in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, China, and more.

According to their management, “The fan meeting were made from the hotly request from the fans in various parts of Asia. This can be interpreted as the foundation for the Asia Concert Tour.”

BEAST plans to meet with the fans in Korea once again on August 14th through the Cube Family Concert, ‘United Cube Concert’, opening at Seoul Jamsil Gymnasium.

B2ST’s “Fiction” to be used as an image song for Japanese film, “Shanghai”



B2ST will be singing an image song for the Japanese-U.S. collaborative film, “Shanghai“!

On June 21st, Japanese media outlets reported that B2ST was confirmed to sing “Fiction” for “Shanghai” (directed by Mikael Hafstrom), which hits theaters in Japan on August 20th. The film has a cast that includes John Cusack, Gong Li, Chow Yun-Fat, and Watanabe Ken.

According to reports, representatives felt that B2ST’s masculine, yet suave image worked best with the feel of the film.

The members said, “We’re still rookies in Japan, so it’s definitely an honor to be able to sing the image song for a movie that features such amazing people.”

“Fiction” will be used in the television CF and movie teaser, which is scheduled for release on June 25th. The song will also be included in B2ST’s first Japanese album, “SO BEAST“, on August 10th.

Yoon Doojoon, "Because MBLAQ did so well we thought about quitting our singing careers



BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon had confessed that BEAST had almost thought about ending the singing career because of MBLAQ.

In
the episode of MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’ that was broadcasted
on July 20th, when the MCs asked the question about “the constant
comparison between MBLAQ and BEAST,” Yoon Doojoon showed off his variety
side by stating, “Currently, I think we are only a little bit ahead.”

Yoon
Doojoon brought up the old memories my stating, “It was early in debut.
Then MBLAQ was so much more popular than us by a big gap.” He also
added, “BEAST was pathetic and we were jealous of the light of Rain
sunbaenim shined on them.”

In addition he let out his personal
thoughts by saying, “When we debuted, we really thought about a
different future of ourselves.”

Meanwhile Lee Kikwang confirmed the rumors between him and Hyunah were all just rumors and nothing more.
