He has gotten many awards for his voice and face, and one for acting by the SBS Drama Awards 2009 (for You're Beautiful).
Hongki likes bright colours, especially for his underwear. He is very witty and loves to shoot his bandmates with bb-guns. He seemed the most miserable when they did the video for Wonbin's departure and like most members cried. Being an AB type he is very weird and therefore hangs out with other Weird guys like Super Junior Heechul and Epik High Mithra. Hongki's English rocks... bottom. However, he has improved in Japanese! He has also learnt how to play drums and is currently learning the guitar.
