KARA’s Goo Hara revealed a shocking habit on a recent broadcast of ‘Happy Together‘.

Hara confessed, “When I’m home alone, I don’t wear any clothes. I like to be comfortable.”

The other attendees were shocked by Hara’s confession and asked, “Do you really not wear any clothes?” MC Park Mi Seon then questioned, “So you have become Eve?” to which Hara nodded shyly with a laugh.

In response to everyone’s shock, Hara explained, “I like to do this because it’s the most comfortable. I also go to sleep without any clothes.”

2AM also confessed, “Even when there are other members around, we can take off our clothes. We’re always hang out in our underwear when we’re in our dorms.”

Hara is going to be in a drama

KARA’s Goo Hara will be making her debut as an actress through SBS’s “City Hunter“!

Goo Hara built up her acting skills through KARA’s on-going Japanese drama series, “URAKARA“; ”City Hunter” will mark her debut Korean drama role. Goo Hara was cast for the role of the president’s daughter, a spunky young woman who failed to get into college the first time and is studying to make up for it.

Goo Hara will join the rest of the cast at the end of the month. She’ll continue to juggle her busy Japanese schedules in conjunction with her new drama role.

Representatives of DSP Media commented, “Whenever we received casting offers for dramas, we were highly concerned with the unresolved controversy surrounding KARA and weren’t able to make a decision. However, acting has been another important course for idol singers lately, so we felt that this would be a great opportunity and decided to cast her for the role after much discussion.”

They continued, “Because of the group’s Japanese promotions, we know that a lot of their Korean fans are disappointed with the lack of Korean activities, which was pressuring to us as well. We’ll be starting by reviving the members’ individual activities in order to further work hard and make sure that KARA can greet their fans as whole once again.”

KARA’s Goo Hara has donated 100 million won (~$89,000 USD) for Japan’s relief efforts.

The idol made the donation on March 22nd to the Public Social Welfare Fund to aid Japan in helping the survivors of the earthquake.

Goo Hara made the donation under her own name, not under the agency or KARA. DSP Media reportedly found out about this private donation after it was made.

Hara recalled the experience, “The day the earthquake hit Japan, we were in the middle of filming the last portion of the drama (TV Tokyo’s ‘Urakara’) that we were starring in. All of a sudden, the ground started to shake and people began to scream. When we returned to the hotel, [we saw that] the building’s wall had cracked. We were so scared that we couldn’t sleep at all. But the people of Japan are currently living in fear that is 100 times, 1,000 times worse. When we think of the hardships that those who have loved us so much are suffering now, our hearts are torn in sadness.”

Goo Hara expressed, “Please use (donation) for those affected by the earthquake in Japan.”

As soon as the earthquake occurred, KARA announced that they were going to donate all of the profits from the sales of their latest album to those in Japan affected by the earthquake. However, the release date of the album has been postponed indefinitely because of the natural disasters.

Hara said, “I decided to make a personal donation because of the urgent situation. [I believe] we should help those who are still victims to dangerous situations.”

“If only I could, I would like to go to the shelter and feed people. Some people may not be able to eat due to the horrific situation… After this difficult period, I want to return to Japan and participate in volunteer work. I wish that once Japan stabilizes, people may find strength by listening to KARA’s bright songs.”

The two were caught confidently dating on the early morning of June 9th, the day Junhyung returned from B2ST’s Japanese concert. After drinking coffee at a take out cafe in Kangnam, the two drove around the area before parking near Junhyung’s home. Kara’s Goo Hara challenged herself to expand both acting and singing careers by recently appearing in SBS’s drama series City Hunter and then releasing her first solo song — a romantic theme song for the sound track of City Hunter.

The eighth track on the sound track, “I Love U, I Want U, I Need U,” is a cheerful, sweat love song that well reflects her character Da Hye’s single-hearted love toward Yun Seong, played by Lee Min Ho.
