On this week’s episode of “Invincible Youth“, it was revealed that KARA member Goo Hara was attempting to pass a farm vehicle operation license. It will be in an effort to complete one project out of G7’s “Promise to the People of Korea“, a list of things the cast wish to accomplish as amateur farmers and field workers.

Despite her busy schedule in Japan, Hara is said to have studied diligently for the tractor license written test. Let’s wish her luck as there probably aren’t very many young people out there attempting to get their tractor’s license before a regular driver’s license.

Readers can tune in to this week’s episode of “Invincible Youth” to see if she did indeed pass.

KARA’s Goo Hara has failed the written test portion of her tractor license test.

On the September 17th episode of KBS‘ “Invincible Youth“, Hara became the first Korean celebrity to try for a farm machinery operating license.

Before the written test, Hara showed her resolution by test-driving a tractor and demonstrated that she could forward and reverse effortlessly.

Goo had a busy schedule visiting Thailand for the filming of a CF, but she always carried her study guide around with her and studied whenever she could. She even prepared a practice test with Kim Shin Young to review her knowledge. Although Goo Hara concentrated and tried hard, she answered only 29 out of the 60 questions correctly, when at least a 36/60 is required to pass.

Hara entered the testing room with determination, but seemed to be lost during the test. She showed no confidence afterwards either, and the result turned out to be a disappointment indeed.

Goo Hara, feeling that she failed to keep a promise she made to the people, responded, “I did my best but could not keep my promise. But I will become a hardworking Goo Hara. I am sorry.”

Hara of 4-member girl group Kara revealed a cute photo of herself jumping on twitter today.

She posted, “Jiyoung and I took this picture at my management company’s garden,” adding, “The weather was nice and I had some free time, but there was really nowhere to go except the agency.”

The photo showed Hara jumping happily in a simple hoodie and jeans. Netizens responded, “Totally cute,” “Your company has this garden? The garden’s pretty and so are you!” and “Do you ever think to yourself how pretty you are?”

A past childhood photo of KARA’s Goo Hara and Wonder Girls’ Sunmi together at an amusement park has caught on interest as of recent.

In the photo, you can see the two girls at a children’s amusement park with two other boys, cutely posing for the camera. The exact time of when the photo was taken is still unknown, however by the looks of the photo, the girls look like they were in elementary/middle school.

This photo was originally uploaded on a fan club open board back in 2009, but had only just recently caught on with the general public.

It is also well known amongst the fans of KARA and the Wonder Girls’ that the 91′er Goo Hara and 92′er Sunmi have always had a close unnie/dongsaeng friendship with each other.

Both girls auditioned for the ‘SM Best Teenagers Contest’ back in 2005, where they both reached to the finals in the ‘Best Image’ category. They remained as close friends even after Sunmi entered JYPE as a trainee.

Netizens who saw this picture commented with, “I think both would have been popular when they were younger”, “Both of them look so young”, “Two pretty babies getting along together…”, “It’s such an old photo, but to see them together is surprising.”

Goo Hara, a member of Kara, cooly dealt with a scandal.

KBS 2TV's IY aired on 8 featured talent Park Kwang Hyun as a special guest to rebuild the home of 'Yoochi' and 'Challani', G7's puppies.

While rebuilding it he was questioned who his favorite IY guest was and answered frankly that the first was Yuri and the second was Goo Hara.

However, Goo Hara immediately rose to the first place as Yuri of SNSD has already quit IY; Ju Yeon jealously joked rejoicing Hara, "You might have earned yourself a scandal."

But Goo Hara answered "I don't care. We're 14 years separated," in an un-typically cool manner for an idol star.

KARA’s Goo Hara recently revealed a bit about her school life, during her appearance on KBS 2TV’s variety program “Nocturnal.”

On the show, she confessed that she was bullied by older female classmates due to being too popular with the male students.

“It wasn’t just simply bullying though, it was a lot more shocking. Girls would come to my classroom and beat me up.”

The MCs thought lightly of it and commented, “They probably just hit you one or two times,” causing Goo Hara to retort, “They really did beat me up until I was about to die!”

She then got up and reenacted the scene herself, causing the MCs to burst out in laughter.

Goo Hara’s high school experience can be seen on October 24th at 11:15 PM.

KARA is currently enjoying a successful run in Japan, but soon KARA’s Goo Hara is set to become a university student.

Their company, DSP Media, revealed to Newsen, “Recently, Goo Hara received her final acceptance to Sungshin Women’s University. Starting from next March, Goo Hara will live on campus.”

She wishes to learn acting, and thus her major will be “media-film acting”.

Goo Hara is now participating in activities in Japan with KARA, but next March she will live the life of a normal college student. Though one has to wonder exactly how normal that life will be in college.

Recently, girl groups KARA and AKB48 took selcas together at the ‘2010 Asia Song Festival‘, and now AKB48’s Sato Natsuki demonstrated their friendship even more by exhibiting ‘couple cell phone charms’ made with KARA’s Goo Hara.

Sato Natsuki uploaded a picture onto her blog with the caption, ‘Hara-sshi and Natsuki, matching couple cellphone charms‘. The picture of the ‘couple cell phone charms’ shows Hara’s ‘H’ and Natsuki’s ‘N’ branded on a cell phone strap.

Sato Natsuki also wrote, ‘I’m very happy! My friend is so pretty. I wrote the Korean word for ‘friend’ phonetically in Japanese. I will study Korean even harder!”

The two groups are friendly rivals in the Japanese music industry, and both have been receiving a lot of attention in the media. During the ‘2010 Asia Song Festival’, a lot of media members from Japan came to Korea to cover the two groups
