orean superstar BoA celebrated her 10th anniversary as a musician with her comeback album, ‘Hurricane Venus‘. It’s just been released that she will undergo a radical transformation to accompany her re-packaged 6th album.

‘Hurricane Venus’ is BoA’s first Korean promotion in five years, as she took a hiatus to pursue her activities in Japan and the U.S. The re-packaged album is said to include two new tracks, though which you will truly feel the color and charisma of BoA’s music once again.

BoA’s re-packaged album will be released on the 27th, and promotions begin on the 24th with a performance on KBS’ “Music Bank“.

On September 17th, superstar BoA tweeted a photo while filming for the much anticipated drama, “Athena: Goddess of War”. The filming took place in Japan and BoA mentioned that acting has been difficult for her.

The producers of the drama, Taewoon Entertainment, recently uploaded additional photos of BoA in the drama.





She will be making a cameo as herself (singer) with Jung Woo Sung acting as her bodyguard. “Athena: Goddess of War” will debut this December through SBS.

BoA’s childhood photos, which were recently released through her mother, Sung Young Ja’s book, The Golden Rule, have stirred much interest. The book reveals BoA’s younger years and the events to her debut, among others.



Thefirst photo shows BoA playing a Korean traditional instrument, calledthe gayageum. It is said that the artist preferred it over the piano.BoA started playing the piano at the age of five, but soon had her eyesonly on the gayageum. It was only after three years of learning thetraditional instrument that BoA decided singing was better.



Anotherphoto is of BoA with her second brother/music video director, Kwon SunWook. It was revealed that it was him who actually taught BoA danceduring her childhood years.

BoA shares her favorite picture of herself



BoA recently shared a playful selca showcasing her clear skin and stunning beauty.

On June 10th, the singer posted the photo on her Twitter with the caption: “Even when I lie down on my bed, I can’t seem to sleep. Alright, I’m going to bed… but before that, here’s my favorite picture! Sleep well everyone~”

Fans remarked, “She is so pretty” and “This is my favorite picture of you too BoA!”
