Her Amazing Vocals
In terms of appearance, Park Bom is as attractive as the other singers in the music industry. Yet, with her voice, which is full of characters, she has left a strong first impression on everyone. Park Bom, who had participated and featured in Big Bang’s ‘We Belong Together’ MV, has received attention from both sides even though she had not debuted at that point of time. After taking part in a few of her seniors’ showcase, Bom was selected to do a CF for Anystar with Lee Hyori and Lee Junki. When their CF was being broadcasted, Park Bom was being recognized on the internet, but it only lasted for a short while, as she did not made use of this chance to debut, which caused her to be back as a normal trainee. When 2NE1 debuted in 2009, people started to realize that that familiar face they had seen before has transformed into 2NE1’s lead singer. Precious Solo Stage
Park Bom didn’t show any anxiety on her first solo stage since she’s had some experience before debut. The only thing made her felt worried is that “The stage is too spacious, I miss my members”. Park Bom caught a cold during her stage performance for ‘You and I’, but she didn’t want the Blackjacks , she insisted on going on the stage. The sad lyrics with R&B melody made Dara cry. After 2 years, Park Bom released another song, ‘Don’t Cry’, as a powerful vocal of 2NE1 with the music video released at the same time. Without any promotion, Bom achieved an All-Kill for 5 days in Korea’s largest music charts. Apart from making having people stunned, the good result has proven the great singing voice of Park Bom. What made people surprised is that, this talented girl didn’t care about her family and friends opposition to her dream, she transferred from American Lesly University to Berkelee College of Music. She was rejected twice when she went to audition for YG Entertainment. But Yang Hyun Suk was touched by her persistence of her third trial for audition so she got accepted and finally became an officially trainee under YGE.
The Strange ‘Noona’
Park Bom was protected by her parents and sister at home. After being part of YG Family , her position has changed. As a big sister, Bommie should treat her sisters and brothers with maturity. She bought a lot of presents for her members when she was back from her vacation in America. Soon, the members are used to call her ‘Good Park Bom‘. Park Bom suffers from lymph node inflammation, which makes her face swell. In order to look better in front of camera, Yang Hyun Suk told Hwangssabu to make Park Bom lose some weight. Though Hwangssabu asked her to shout “I hate eating corn”, whenever she sees food, she forgets about it immediately! Even G-dragon, who is so busy all the time, always discovers the eating moments of Bom. Everytime Bom return from America, she gains more weight.And Hwangssabu can only sigh forher gained weight. Park Bom herself also feels strange “I can’t control myself not to eat and I am always discovered everytime I try to eat more.”

Sexy diva, Lee Hyori, has been voted no.1 “Korea’s Beyonce” with an overwhelming support from the netizens.
Last August 17th, Monkey3 conducted a suvey regarding “Who is South Korea’s Beyonce?”. The survey has been conducted for 26days with a total of 700 participants, Lee Hyori received an overwhelming amount of support placing her to the 1st spot with 42% (291 people).
Lee Hyori is followed by other girl group members.

It’s been revealed that 2NE1’s Park Bom will be showcasing a special performance with her older sister, famous cellist Park Go Eun, during 2NE1’s upcoming ‘Nolza‘ concert!
A representative from YG Entertainment stated, “We have prepared many hidden cards that will be revealed during 2NE1’s ‘Nolza’ concert, and one of them will be the joint performance between Park Bom and her older sister.”
The representative continued, “Park Go Eun is a famous cellist who is recognized for her talents both within Korea and around the world. She has held many solo concerts in the past, and agreed to hold this special stage despite her busy schedule in order to celebrate 2NE1’s first concert.”
Park Bom had publicly praised her older sister in the past through her Me2day after attending her solo concert, during which she had performed a cover of Park Bom’s “You and I” on the cello. During the ‘Nolza’ concert, Park Go Eun will once again perform “You and I” while Park Bom sings the song.
Park Go Eun is a graduate of the prestigious Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University. Bom had stopped by the Peabody Institute during season one of ‘2NE1tv‘, where she talked about how she had practiced her singing in the rehearsal rooms of the institute that her sister had attended.
