Super Junior’s Surprise Appearance in Japanese Drama

Super Junior was introduced as Korea’s greatest boy band in the Japanese drama, “Team Medical Dragon 3.”

According to SM Entertainment, Super Junior was featured in the first episode of the drama, which aired on October 14th through Fuji TV. A hospitalized female was shown with Super Junior merchandise such as CDs, magazines, alongside other items.

The girl playing the role of a Super Junior fan states, “Super Junior is really amazing. They’re Korea’s best and most popular boyband, I really want to meet them.”

Fuji TV stated that they wanted to expose Super Junior through their dramas as much as possible due to their high popularity in Japan. SM Entertainment was highly impressed with the attention Super Junior was receiving and readily agreed.

Super Junior have made a surprise appearance on a Japanese drama series.

Well, not in person exactly, but through CD’s and magazines. the first episode of ‘Team Medical Dragon 3′ was broadcasted on Japanese TV channel Fuji TV on 14th of October.

The girl in the drama is a massive Super Junior fan, her lines in the film go as followed:

“Super Junior is really great. They’re Korea’s best popular idol group, and I really want to meet them”.

The series as you may have guessed, is a medical drama featuring Japanese actors such as Kinji Sakaguchi, Izumi Inamori, Koike Teppei, Abe Sadao, Tanimura Mitsuki and many others.

Fuji TV wanted to particularly feature Super Junior boys due to their immense popularity in Japan, hoping to attract many viewers.
