Brown Eyed Girls‘ member Narsha recently posted a quirky photo showing off her short legs, causing laughter among netizens.

Recently through her minihompy, Narsha posted a photo that was taken on site during a filming session of KBS Invincible Youth. In the photo (pictured above), Narsha is seen wearing a bright yellow jacket top with spotted red pants similar to children clothing, but the photo seems a bit odd due to the fact that her height was too short.

Regarding her height shown in the photo, Narsha commented, “I came out too short,” showing her somewhat regretful feelings. Netizens who also viewed the picture sympathized with the singer as they commented, “I was going to call you ‘child idol’ but I saw your short self and teared a little,” and “Anyone who wears that type of clothing would come out short,”.

Meanwhile, Narsha is also currently busy with activities as a radio DJ.

We’ve been waiting for this debut since March, and after three months, it’s nearly here – Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha is opening new doors and releasing her first mini-album titled Narshism!

Today, a teaser for a track titled I’m in Love emerged on the internet, and, unlike Abracadabra and Sign which catapulted the Brown Eyed Girls to new levels of fame last year, I’m in Love slows down the tempo for a ballad-like track. Although the title ‘Narshism’ (나르시즘), which is intended to be a wordplay of ‘Narsha’ and ‘narcissism,’ may imply vanity and egotism, Narsha shows a gentler, more vulnerable side of herself with this release.

This track, which is a remake of Ra.D’s track of the same title, was an extensive production by names including Jo Young Chul, Lee Min Soo (who also produced Abracadabra and Candy Man), east4A, hitchhiker, KZ and D’Day. This track also features Jung Sungha, a very popular young guitarist from Korea & Youtube (whom we featured back in March – check out that exclusive here!).

Narsha, Lee Joon, Song Ji Eun and Jung Dong Ha pose for a horror photo



A freaky photo has surfaced on various portal sites of Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha’s transition into a ghost on KBS Radio FM Narsha’s Raise the Volume.

Narsha, along with Boohwal’s Jung Dong Ha, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, and Secret’s Song Ji Eun, all captured the essence of a horror special concept for this photo which was uploaded onto the radio show’s website.

During the radio, Lee Joon shared a story of the time he felt as if he was being choked while he was sleeping, which in turn inspired for a horror photo to be taken.

Lee Joon and Narsha both with their electrifying stares and creepy poses, Ji Eun gaping her mouth open to let out a scream, and Jung Dong Ha’s freaked out reaction towards Ji Eun’s chillingly mute scream, all contribute to the cause of goosebumps to those who viewed this photo.

Netizens said, “Maiden ghost Narsha. Very scary”, “Lee Joon is scary as well.”

Narsha reveals more album jacket photos



Brow Eyed Girls’ Narsha decided it’s time to tease a little more. This time around, she released more of her album jacket photos for her album Narshism.

Her title track Bbi Ri Bba Bba (삐리빠빠) will be released on the 5th. Before then, she plans on releasing lots of photos from her new album. This is the second batch of album jacket photos.

In these photos, she seems kind of like a witch. That was the concept she was going for and she surely pulled it off.

The pictures are more than sexy and no one can deny that. Jo Young Chul the producer said, “The first half of the song has a slower beat and in the second half, the chorus grows on the scale of energy. The style of the song is rare.”

Narsha’s BBI RI BOP A music video hit by religious controversy



Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha’s music video of her solo debut track BBI RI BOP A has been hit with religious controversy. These accusations stem from the provocative and sacrilegious uses of the laurels and the shawl being drenched in blood, etc.

Narsha’s company defended these accusations by stating:

“The religious controversy that arose from the music video is due to over-excessive interpretations”

“We weren’t abusing or belittling religious subject matter. Instead, it was a production implying the symbolism in the lyrics and overall story”

Director Hwang Soo Ah, who produced the music video, also expressed:

“The laurel that Narsha was wearing on her head was used to bring out her feelings of penance. The blood-drenched shawl was to imply the meaning of her painful past”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha joins the list of celebrities with impersonators on Twitter.

On July 16th a representative from Nega Network stated, “The Narsha twitter with a picture of Dokdo Island is fake.” This twitter was known around the internet as Narsha’s twitter, however recently there was a post that stirred some issues. The post said, “Dokdo island is Japan’s territory and Korea’s government is illegally occupying it.”

One of Narsha’s representatives explained, “The twitter that bought up the controversy is run by one of the Brown Eyed Girls fans, however, several celebrities and netizens were misinformed that the twitter belonged to Narsha… We are in the process of investigating to see if this Twitter account owner was impersonating Narsha… Narsha’s real twitter address is @flyx2NAL”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha released her solo album recently and has been gaining more fans and attention for her song Bbi Ri Bop A. The song itself is quite addicting but something else people have been noticing is her unique sense of style for this song.

Her flashy clothes are one thing but her crazy makeup is what catches everyone’s eyes. On the 17th, she even uploaded a picture of her face with the makeup on and wrote, “Makeup too precious to take off.”

On the upcoming airing of variety show ‘Hero Girls’ on 1st August, the members on the show revealed that they have been worried even before the show because of Seo InYoung.

With the participation like Yoo InNa, Jung GaEun, Narsha etc, the female stars said, “During the casting before our filming, we are already worried because of Seo InYoung.”

They said, “This is because of Seo InYoung’s strong image.” Yoo InNa said, “I don’t know how I should call Seo InYoung since she is younger than me,” and Narsha said, “After I revealed my age on Strong Heart, our relationship became awkward.”

But the members continued, “However after spending some time with her, we got close to her because Seo InYoung is actually very easy going and kind.”

Can you imagine the cute ‘adult idol’ Narsha as a ghost? Well, she did become a ghost recently!
Narsha, who is a regular cast member on KBS 2TV Invincible Youth, arrived late to the set due to her radio show schedule. She arrived at the set late at night as it was the summer horror special episode. To spice things up, she dressed up as a ghost.
Excluding Narsha, the other G7 members, KARA’s Goo Hara, T-ara’s HyoMin, After School’s JooYeon, f(x)’s Victoria, Secret’s Han SunHwa and Kim Sori had the chance to partner up with male guests for games and the horrors of an abandoned school. MBLAQ, SG Wannabe’s Lee SukHoon, and Park HyunBin were the lucky male guests for the special episode of Invincible Youth.
Narsha then appeared with her ghost costume and started dancing to her title song while yelling, “Who said to date without me?!” When she was given the chance to choose her male partner, she eventually sat between HyoMin and her partner, Lee SukHoon.
The winning couple, Goo Hara and Park HyunBin, were exempt from entering the abandoned school and won corn and potatoes as prizes.

On the most recent episode of SBS Heroes, the members were given the task of taking a special photo with an animal at the amusement park.

While IU simply posed in front of a chimpanzee cage, Brown Eyed Girl’s Narsha decided to do something different. She met up with an orangutan to dance the ’saucy hip move’ from one of 2009’s biggest hits, Abracadabra.
